CardVault by Tom Brady to Open 20th Store in Pittsburgh

CardVault by Tom Brady is continuing its national expansion with a new Pittsburgh location that will become the sports collectibles retailer’s 20th store. The store will open November 1 at The Terminal in Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District, following recent CardVault openings in Los Angeles and Indianapolis. The company said Pittsburgh’s deep sports history and passionate fan base made the city a natural choice for its next location.
The new store will be located at 1659 Smallman Street and will carry a curated selection of single cards, sealed boxes, packs and other collectibles. Brands represented will include Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, Pokémon and Fanatics Authentic. Collectors will also be able to submit cards for professional grading through PSA, Beckett and SGC directly through the store.
One of CardVault’s signature features will also be part of the Pittsburgh location. The store will include a vault displaying a rotating selection of autographed and authenticated sports memorabilia, including helmets, jerseys, bats and balls.
The Pittsburgh store continues an expansion that CollectiblesNews.com has been following throughout 2026. In August, CardVault opened its 17th store in Palo Alto, California, adding another Bay Area location near Tom Brady’s hometown of San Mateo. A little more than a month later, CardVault opened its 18th location at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles. Most recently, CardVault opened is 19th store in Indianapolis, Indiana.
“Pittsburgh is one of America’s great sports cities, and we’re excited to bring CardVault to its passionate community of fans and collectors,” said Chris Costa, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of CardVault by Tom Brady. “Our 20th store reflects the momentum we’re building nationwide as we introduce a new generation of collectors to the hobby.”
CardVault is planning several giveaways for the November 1 grand opening. The first 25 customers through the doors will receive a limited-edition Pittsburgh-themed CardVault by Tom Brady hat. Visitors will also be able to enter for a chance to win a baseball signed by Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes.
There will be an additional giveaway for fans waiting outside before the store opens. Those customers can enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to that Sunday’s Pittsburgh Steelers game, with the winner scheduled to be announced inside the store at 11 AM ET. The Pittsburgh opening comes as CardVault continues to expand its physical presence around the country. The company describes itself as the first national retailer dedicated to sports cards, trading cards and authenticated memorabilia.
Beyond day-to-day card and memorabilia sales, the Pittsburgh store is expected to serve as a gathering place for collectors. CardVault says the location will host regular trade nights, special guest appearances, exclusive product launches and other community events.
The CardVault by Tom Brady Pittsburgh store opens Sunday, November 1 at 10 AM ET at The Terminal, 1659 Smallman Street. Regular store hours will be 10 AM to 8 PM daily.
