CardVault by Tom Brady to Open 17th Store

CardVault by Tom Brady is expanding its Bay Area presence with a new store in Palo Alto, California, marking the company’s 17th retail location nationwide. The new store will officially open Saturday, August 15, at Town & Country Village, located at 855 El Camino Real.
The Palo Alto location will offer collectors single cards, sealed boxes, packs and other collectibles from brands including Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, Pokémon and Fanatics Authentic. Customers will be able to buy, sell and trade collectibles at the store, while grading submission services will also be available.
CardVault said the location will operate as an authorized dealer for PSA, Beckett and SGC, allowing collectors to submit cards for grading through the store.
A signature vault inside the location will display autographed and authenticated memorabilia including helmets, jerseys, bats and balls. The company described the display as a museum-style centerpiece for collectors and sports fans.
The new Palo Alto store is located south of CardVault’s San Francisco flagship, which sits across from Oracle Park. It is also near Tom Brady’s hometown of San Mateo. CardVault said the location is intended to serve not only as a retail store but also as a gathering place for collectors. Programming will include trade nights, exclusive product releases, special guest appearances and other events.
“CardVault by Tom Brady began with the simple idea that the right space can turn a personal passion into a shared experience,” CardVault co-founder Scott Heigelmann said.
The grand opening will take place August 15 at 10 AM PT. The first 25 customers in line will receive a limited-edition Palo Alto-themed CardVault by Tom Brady hat. Visitors will also have an opportunity to enter a giveaway for a signed Christian McCaffrey mini helmet.
CardVault said additional grand-opening details will be announced later. The store will be open seven days a week from 10 AM to 7 PM.
CardVault by Tom Brady describes itself as the first national retail destination dedicated to sports cards, trading cards and collectibles. The company also operates CardVault Breaks, its live-streaming card-opening business.
