Shohei Ohtani 1-of-1 Logoman Autograph Card From Historic 3-Homer, 10-Strikeout NLCS Game Heads to Auction

Shohei Ohtani The Game Dynasty Black

One of the most significant Shohei Ohtani cards produced to date is heading to auction, and the memorabilia inside it comes directly from one of the greatest postseason performances of his career. Fanatics Collect will open bidding October 8 on a 2025 Topps MLB MVP The Game Dynasty Black Shohei Ohtani MLB Logoman Patch Autograph card numbered 1-of-1. The card has been graded PSA 9 and carries an MLB Logoman patch cut from the pants Ohtani wore during Game 4 of the 2025 National League Championship Series.

That game took place on October 17, 2025, with the Los Angeles Dodgers one win away from reaching the World Series. Ohtani delivered an extraordinary two-way performance. He pitched six scoreless innings and struck out 10 Milwaukee Brewers while also batting leadoff and hitting three home runs. The Dodgers won the game to clinch the National League pennant.

The game-used connection gives the card a level of significance well beyond a typical premium patch autograph. Topps used the MLB Logoman patch from Ohtani’s game-worn pants as the centerpiece of the 1-of-1 Dynasty Black Autographed Relic. The back of the card shows the pants and identifies the game in which they were worn, directly tying the memorabilia to Ohtani’s three-home-run, 10-strikeout performance.

Ohtani is pictured both pitching and batting on the front, reflecting the two-way nature of the game. His autograph appears in gold ink against the card’s dark Dynasty Black design. The card was inserted into the 2025 Topps MLB MVP Collection, a limited release built around Ohtani and Aaron Judge after both stars won consecutive MVP awards. Dynasty Black cards were included as rare additions to the product, with this Ohtani serving as a unique 1-of-1. PSA has graded the card a 9, and Fanatics Collect lists its population as one.

It arrives at auction during a remarkable run for Ohtani’s highest-end cards. In July, CollectiblesNews.com reported that his 2018 Bowman Chrome Superfractor 1/1 sold privately through Fanatics Collect for $3.365 million, establishing what was then a record for an Ohtani card.

That record did not last long. Later that month, the one-of-one 2026 Topps Chrome Dual Gold Logoman English and Kanji autograph redemption was sold to Secure Collectibles for $11 million. The card combines two Gold MLB Logoman patches with Ohtani autographs in both English and Japanese kanji.

Ohtani’s rookie cards have also continued to produce multimillion-dollar results. In September, a 2018 Bowman Chrome Red Refractor Rookie Autograph numbered to five sold for $2.44 million at Goldin.

Logoman cards in particular have become an important part of the Ohtani collectibles market. CollectiblesNews.com also recently covered Ohtani’s historic 2025 Tokyo Series jersey carrying the first Gold MLB Logoman worn in an official Major League game. Unlike patches removed for trading cards, that Gold Logoman remains attached to the jersey Ohtani wore during the first official MLB game he played in Japan.

The card coming to Fanatics Collect has a different kind of appeal. Its patch can be traced not simply to Ohtani or to a particular season, but to one specific postseason game in which he accomplished something extraordinary on both sides of the ball. That combination of a 1-of-1 serial number, autograph, MLB Logoman patch and direct connection to a pennant-clinching performance makes the card one of the more unusual high-end Ohtani pieces to reach auction.

Fanatics Collect has assigned the card Lot 1 in its October Premier Auction, with bidding scheduled to begin October 8.
