Shohei Ohtani Dual Gold Logoman Card Sold To Secure Collectibles For $11 Million

Secure Collectibles has acquired the one-of-one Shohei Ohtani Dual Gold Logoman English and Kanji autograph redemption from 2026 Topps Chrome Baseball for $11 million.

The company confirmed the purchase in an Instagram post and said the card will become part of the WonderShyne Portfolio. The $11 million transaction is considerably higher than the $6.5 million bounty Secure initially announced for the card.

The card recently surfaced after being pulled from a hobby box at Boca Sports Cards in Boca Raton, Florida. It attracted several multimillion-dollar bounty announcements before Secure completed the acquisition.

As CollectiblesNews.com previously reported, Secure announced its original offer before the card was found and instructed whoever pulled it to contact the company directly.

In its latest statement, Secure acknowledged that other parties later announced higher bounties. The company said its original $6.5 million offer was intended to make its interest known rather than begin a public competition for attention.

“My $6.5mm bounty may have seemed low, and yes, I knew others would put out higher bounties to one-up it and ride the momentum, yet mine wasn’t about that,” Matthew Allen said.

The company added that it did not need to publicly outbid the competing bounty announcements because its goal was to acquire the card.

“No need to outbid bounties,” Allen said. “I wanted the card, not the attention.”

Secure ultimately paid $11 million for the redemption, placing the final transaction above its original offer but below some of the larger bounties announced after the card became one of the most closely watched pulls in the hobby.

Secure said the card will now join the WonderShyne Portfolio, its collection of high-end sports cards.

“In the end, what matters is whose hands the card ultimately falls into,” the company said. “This was purchased by @secure and will be part of the WonderShyne Portfolio.”
