Avengers: Doomsday Thor Figure With Light-Up Mjolnir, Stormbreaker and Sentinel Base Revealed by Hot Toys
Thor is the latest Avengers: Doomsday character getting the sixth-scale treatment from Hot Toys, with Sideshow opening pre-orders for both a standard figure and a larger Deluxe Version built around a battle-damaged Sentinel display. The new Thor 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure is based on Chris Hemsworth’s appearance in the upcoming Marvel film and stands approximately 12.6 inches tall. Hot Toys has created a new headsculpt with a sculpted beard and short hairstyle, along with separate rolling eyeballs treated with a UV luminous reflective effect to recreate Thor’s powered-up look.
His new Asgardian armor includes bronze-colored discs that can be swapped for translucent blue lightning-effect pieces. The torso armor itself also incorporates USB-powered LED lighting, while a wired red cape allows collectors to adjust it for more dramatic poses. Thor comes with both of his signature weapons. The reconstructed cracked Mjolnir and Stormbreaker each feature their own LED light-up functions, with additional translucent blue lightning effects that can be attached to the weapons, armor and Thor’s forearms.
The Deluxe Version takes the display considerably further with a battle-damaged Sentinel head diorama base. The base features USB-powered illumination and is accompanied by a large lightning surge, three lightning effects that attach directly to the base and four more effects that can be positioned on the figure.
Sideshow says the expanded display is designed to recreate Thor’s confrontation with Doctor Doom seen in the Avengers: Doomsday trailer. That also gives the Deluxe Thor a direct display connection to another centerpiece of Hot Toys’ growing line. Sideshow currently lists the Thor Collector Edition at $285, while the Deluxe Version is priced at $385. Both are available for pre-order, with estimated delivery between July and December 2027.
