Avengers: Doomsday Cyclops Figure First Look Revealed by Hot Toys

Sideshow is giving Marvel collectors a closer look at Hot Toys’ upcoming Cyclops 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure from Avengers: Doomsday, following the figure’s reveal at San Diego Comic-Con.

The new figure is based on James Marsden’s appearance as Cyclops in the upcoming Marvel film and features a newly developed, screen-accurate headsculpt. One of its standout features is a set of LED light-up eyes paired with Cyclops’ signature visor, giving collectors several ways to recreate the X-Men leader’s optic blasts.

Hot Toys has included an assortment of interchangeable visors with translucent red optic blast effects in different shapes and sizes. The pieces allow the figure to be displayed with everything from a more contained blast to much larger effects designed for action poses.

Cyclops’ costume recreates his look from Avengers: Doomsday with a tactical top and matching cargo pants, weathered yellow asymmetrical chest harness with a circular X-Men logo, utility belt, thigh straps and combat boots. A specially designed figure stand carrying the movie logo is also included.

The Cyclops reveal continues a growing run of Avengers: Doomsday collectibles from Hot Toys. CollectiblesNews.com previously covered Sideshow’s first look at the upcoming Gambit 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure, which includes UV luminous reflective eyes, two bō staffs and an assortment of translucent purple kinetic-energy effects. Hot Toys has also put considerable attention into the film’s central villain. The previously revealed Avengers: Doomsday Doctor Doom figure features multiple editions, mystic power effects and an optional throne accessory that can be used to create a larger display.

Like Gambit, Cyclops is being offered in several configurations. Collectors can choose from a Standard Edition, Special Edition, Deluxe Edition and Exclusive Deluxe Edition, all of which are available for pre-order through Sideshow.
