Shohei Ohtani Logoman Sells for $1.14 Million, His Fifth Million-Dollar Card Sale of 2026
Shohei Ohtani has added another seven-figure card sale to what has already become a remarkable year for his collectibles market. A one-of-one 2025 Topps Dynasty Gold Shohei Ohtani MLB Logoman Patch Autograph card sold for $1,140,000 in Fanatics Collect’s August Premier Auction. The PSA 9 Mint card, which received a 10 grade for the autograph, attracted 29 bids before closing August 28. The final price includes the buyer’s premium.
Fanatics Collect says the result represents Ohtani’s fifth card sale of at least $1 million in 2026. Before this year began, he had recorded only two seven-figure card sales during his entire career. The card comes from 2025 Topps Dynasty and features an on-card Ohtani autograph paired with a game-used MLB Silhouetted Batter Logo patch. It is a true one-of-one from a standalone insert set rather than a parallel of another card.
That combination of a game-used Logoman, autograph and unique production run puts the card squarely in the high-end category that has produced several of Ohtani’s biggest sales.
The pace of those results has accelerated dramatically during 2026. One of the biggest came in July, when CollectiblesNews.com reported that Ohtani’s 2018 Bowman Chrome Superfractor rookie sold for $3.365 million through Fanatics Collect. At the time, the private transaction established a new record for an Ohtani card.
That record barely lasted two weeks. On July 30, CollectiblesNews.com reported that Ohtani’s one-of-one Dual Gold Logoman card sold to Secure Collectibles for $11 million. The 2026 Topps Chrome Back-to-Back MVP Dual Gold Logoman autograph redemption features Ohtani signatures in both English and Japanese kanji along with Gold Logoman patches tied to his consecutive MVP seasons. The $11 million transaction pushed Ohtani’s card market into an entirely different stratosphere and became one of the largest sports card sales ever recorded.
Against those enormous results, the newly sold $1.14 million Dynasty card may seem modest. But the broader significance is that another Ohtani one-of-one has crossed the million-dollar threshold at all. The latest card also shows how strongly collectors continue to value Ohtani cards built around unique physical elements. Superfractors and one-of-one Logoman cards have repeatedly produced his biggest prices, particularly when paired with autographs, rookie status or historically significant seasons.
That pattern is evident across all three of the major sales covered by CollectiblesNews.com this summer. The $3.365 million Bowman Chrome card offered the one-of-one Superfractor treatment on an Ohtani rookie. The $11 million Topps Chrome card combined two Gold Logoman patches with dual autographs. Now the $1.14 million Topps Dynasty card pairs an on-card signature with a game-used MLB logo patch.
