Topps Puts Milwaukee Brewers World Series Champagne Cork Into Trading Card in Hobby First

Topps is taking game-used memorabilia in a decidedly different direction with its latest Milwaukee Brewers World Series card, placing an actual champagne cork from the team’s championship celebration inside a trading card. The unusual relic is part of Milwaukee Brewers 2026 MLB Topps NOW Card #830. Topps says that, to its knowledge, this marks the first time a cork has ever been placed inside an official trading card.
“An actual champagne cork from the Brewers’ World Series celebration is going inside a trading card,” Topps announced on X.
Collectors ordering the card will have a chance at Celebration Champagne Cork Relic Redemption Cards numbered to 10, five and just one copy. The standard card is an open-edition Topps NOW release, meaning its final print run will be determined by the number of copies ordered during the sales window. The card is priced at $11.99 for a single copy and is available through October 30. Topps also offers discounted pricing for orders of five, 10 and 20 cards.
Along with the champagne cork relics, collectors can find the usual lineup of numbered foil parallels. Gold Foil cards are numbered to 50, Orange Foil to 25, Black Foil to 10, Red Foil to five and the FoilFractor is a one-of-one. Additional Chrome and Opal Chrome parallels can also be unlocked if the card reaches Topps’ designated print-run thresholds, beginning at 50,000 copies.
The champagne cork card is the latest in a rapidly growing group of unusual collectibles Topps has created around Milwaukee’s 2026 World Series championship.
CollectiblesNews.com covered the Brewers’ 15-card World Series Champions Topps NOW team set, which includes a chance at multiple one-of-one multi-player autographs. Among the biggest prizes is a 1/1 triple autograph featuring Jackson Chourio, Christian Yelich and Jacob Misiorowski.
Topps followed that announcement with another unconventional championship collectible. Each player in the Brewers team set received a Diamond Parallel limited to two copies. One copy was placed inside a diamond chain and presented to the player during the clubhouse celebration, while the matching copy is being inserted into a team set for a collector to find.
The champagne cork relic takes that connection to the celebration one step further. Instead of simply commemorating the World Series celebration with photography or a parallel design, Topps acquired an object from the clubhouse festivities and turned it into the centerpiece of a limited relic card.
For whoever lands the one-of-one version, it will be a unique piece of the Brewers’ championship celebration preserved inside a Topps card. Milwaukee Brewers 2026 MLB Topps NOW Card #830 is available through Topps for $11.99 through October 30, with Celebration Champagne Cork Relic Redemption Cards numbered to /10, /5 and /1 among the possible hits.
