BERO Brings Back Limited-Edition Spider-Man: Brand New Day Collector Cans After First Run Sells Out

Limited-Edition Spider-Man: Brand New Day Collectible Cans

BERO is giving Spider-Man collectors another chance at its limited-edition Spider-Man: Brand New Day cans after the first release sold out in just two weeks. The premium non-alcoholic beer brand co-created by Tom Holland and John Herman announced a second limited-time run of its collaboration with Sony Pictures on October 8. The return is timed to the at-home release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which became available to buy or rent on digital storefronts October 6.

BERO originally introduced the collectible cans in July alongside the movie’s theatrical release. As CollectiblesNews.com reported at the time, the collaboration paired BERO’s Kingston Golden Pils with limited-edition packaging inspired by Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

According to BERO, that first edition sold out within two weeks and helped drive a 121% increase in traffic to the company’s website, making the collaboration one of the brand’s most successful limited-edition releases to date. The returning cans feature custom Spider-Man: Brand New Day-inspired packaging. Inside is BERO’s Kingston Golden Pils, a European-style non-alcoholic pilsner that the company selected for the collaboration. BERO does not state in the announcement how many different collectible can designs are included in the second run or how many cans will be produced.

The re-release is expanding beyond online sales this time. Topgolf will serve as the exclusive on-premise retailer for the limited-edition cans, allowing fans to find the Spider-Man packaging at Topgolf venues while supplies last. Once the special cans sell out, BERO says its standard Kingston Golden Pils will remain on Topgolf menus.

BERO Co-Founder and CEO John Herman said the response to the original Spider-Man collaboration showed that the company’s non-alcoholic beer could be part of major entertainment releases and other social occasions. He said bringing the cans back gives fans another opportunity to experience the collaboration after the first run disappeared so quickly.

The company is also positioning the October return as a seasonal release, noting Spider-Man’s continued popularity around Halloween, movie nights and fall gatherings. The second run of BERO’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day Kingston Golden Pils cans became available October 8 for a limited time through BERO’s website and at Topgolf venues.
