Pokémon Shows Off More Pikachu Cards From 30th Celebration Set

The Pokémon Company is giving collectors another look at the Pikachu cards coming to Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration, putting the franchise mascot at the center of one of the anniversary set’s biggest collecting challenges.

In a new preview, Pokémon highlighted additional Pikachu cards from the upcoming expansion. Each Pikachu card features its own illustration, artist and attacks, giving collectors multiple distinct versions of the character to chase. The Pikachu cards are a major part of the 30th Celebration set. Pokémon previously announced that there will be 30 different Pikachu rare cards in the expansion, with one appearing in every booster pack.

That makes completing the Pikachu lineup a collection challenge within the larger 30th Celebration set. Rather than simply offering different parallels of the same card, the Pikachu cards feature different artwork and artists, giving each one its own identity.

Pokémon is also showcasing two Pikachu ex special illustration rare cards as part of the latest look at the expansion.

The Pikachu chase joins several other features created for the Pokémon Trading Card Game’s 30th anniversary. The Pokémon Company previously revealed that 30th Celebration will include an all-foil card lineup, 30 classic cards from the history of the Pokémon TCG and the new Futuristic rare rarity.

Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration is scheduled to launch September 16, 2026, giving collectors a new anniversary set to open while also creating a 30-card Pikachu collection for fans of Pokémon’s longtime mascot.
