Replay Sports Cards to Launch Pokémon Auctions on StockX Live

Replay Sports Cards is expanding its live-selling presence with a launch on StockX Live that will put Pokémon trading cards alongside its traditional sports card offerings.
Replay will debut on StockX Live on August 16, with Pokémon playing a key role in the company’s initial activation on the platform. The first Replay stream will run from 10 PM to midnight ET and will be hosted by Jared Gutstein and Ben Miller. The inaugural broadcast will feature more than $500 in giveaways along with auctions focused on sealed Pokémon packs.
StockX Live launched July 30 and allows collectors to participate in real-time auctions, giveaways and live interaction between buyers and sellers. The platform connects sellers with StockX’s existing audience of more than 30 million unique monthly visitors. Pokémon trading cards are being added to the StockX Live experience this week.
“We’re excited to bring Replay to StockX Live and introduce our community to another way to experience the hobby,” Replay Sports Cards co-founder Mike Martin said.
Martin said StockX has built a marketplace spanning sports cards, Pokémon, Disney and other areas of the trading card hobby, and that the partnership gives Replay another way to connect with collectors through a live, interactive format.
Pokémon to Play Major Role in Launch
Replay said Pokémon will be an important part of its initial StockX Live presence as the company looks to reach collectors beyond its traditional sports-focused audience.
Steve Halupka, Director of Collectibles at StockX Live, said Replay’s focus on Pokémon alongside sports cards reflects how the collectibles community is continuing to expand.
“Replay has built a strong reputation for making the trading card hobby approachable, engaging, and community-driven, which makes them a natural fit for StockX Live,” Halupka said.
Replay plans to bring the same community-focused approach used in its physical stores and other livestreams to StockX Live. The company said the launch is another step in its strategy to diversify its digital channels and expand its reach across the broader trading card and collectibles community.
Replay Sports Cards currently operates three stores in the United States and offers buying, selling, trading and grading services. The company also conducts weekly livestreams on Whatnot and TikTok.
Its StockX Live debut is scheduled for August 16 from 10 PM to midnight ET, with sealed Pokémon pack auctions and more than $500 in giveaways planned for the launch stream.
