Naruto Chakra Gen Con Card CP-001 Going for Four Figures on eBay, First One Already Graded by Beckett

One of the first promotional cards released for Bandai’s upcoming Naruto Card Game is already commanding four-figure prices on eBay.
The CP-001 Chakra Card was distributed exclusively to eligible participants who attended the game’s first tutorial sessions at Gen Con 2026. The card carries a Gen Con event stamp and was released ahead of the Naruto Card Game’s planned worldwide arrival in 2027.
Completed eBay listings show ungraded copies changing hands for substantial amounts only days after the promotion began.
Completed eBay listings also show strong early demand for the CP-001 promo.
One ungraded copy sold on July 30 through a listing showing a price of $1,499.99. Another sold the same day for $900.
Two additional copies were listed for $1,400 and marked sold after the sellers accepted best offers. The actual purchase prices were not disclosed by eBay, so those transactions cannot be counted as confirmed $1,400 sales.
Active eBay listings are also attracting strong bidding. At the time of publication, one single-card auction had reached $1,050 with three bids, while another stood at $1,000 with 10 bids. A third single-card auction had reached $885 with 15 bids.
Another listing that included the CP-001 card with a playmat and additional Gen Con items had reached $1,009 with eight bids.
Buy It Now asking prices for individual copies were generally clustered around $1,100 to $1,550. The eBay search contained 31 active results, including auctions, fixed-price listings and bundles containing additional Gen Con merchandise.

First CP-001 Card Already Graded by Beckett
The promotion is so new that one collector reportedly traveled between two major conventions to have a copy graded almost immediately.
“After attending The National, they made the trip to Gen Con to experience Bandai’s Naruto TCG tutorial event, secured one of the first promo cards, then headed back to The National to have it graded,” Beckett said.
Beckett described the card as the “BGS 9.5 2026 Gen Con Exclusive Naruto TCG Promo Card.”
Released before the full game reaches the international market, the event-stamped card represents one of the earliest officially distributed collectibles from Bandai’s new Naruto trading card era.
The combination of limited event distribution, an early release date and strong interest in the Naruto franchise has quickly made CP-001 one of the most closely watched collectibles to emerge from Gen Con 2026.
