Gronk Geeks Out Trailer Released Ahead of eBay Live Premiere

eBay has released the trailer for Gronk Geeks Out, a new collectibles series featuring former NFL star Rob Gronkowski as he learns more about sports cards, comics and other collectibles and tests his skills during live selling events.

The trailer presents the series as a collectibles training camp, with Gronkowski being coached by eBay sellers WeTheHobby and PCB Hobby. The series will follow him as he takes part in high-stakes eBay Live broadcasts featuring rare sports cards and other collectible inventory.

The first installment of Gronk Geeks Out will premiere at the 2026 National Sports Collectors Convention on Saturday, August 1, from 4 to 5 PM CT. Collectors attending The National will be able to watch in person, while viewers at home can follow the event through eBay Live.

eBay’s event page describes the broadcast as “Gronk Geeks Out on sports cards live at the National.” Gronkowski will appear alongside WeTheHobby from the convention floor, with the event categorized around football cards, repacks and auctions beginning at $1.

Gronkowski said he has used eBay since childhood to search for sports memorabilia and collectibles, adding that some of his favorite memories involve discussing potential additions to collections with friends.

“The best part of eBay Live is hanging out with people who care about The Hobby as much as I do,” Gronkowski said. He added that viewers will be able to follow his collecting journey and potentially see the group uncover major hits.

The premiere will be part of eBay’s largest presence to date at The National. The company’s new eBay Arena will host more than 60 eBay Live streams during the five-day convention, including card breaks, collectible auctions, athlete appearances and interactive experiences.

Other scheduled programming includes a Dylan Harper basketball card break, a Taylen Kinney appearance and an Upper Deck auction featuring authenticated Michael Jordan collectibles.
