eBay Bringing Its Biggest-Ever Presence to the 2026 National Sports Collectors Convention

eBay is expanding its presence at the 2026 National Sports Collectors Convention with the debut of the eBay Arena, a new space featuring live shopping, athlete appearances, premium collectibles and interactive activities.

The company describes the eBay Arena as its largest presence at The National to date. More than 60 eBay Live streams are planned during the five-day convention, including card breaks, auctions and appearances by athletes and creators.

Dylan Harper will join Blez for a basketball card break on July 31, while Taylen Kinney will appear with Black Gold Sports Cards for a break featuring 2025-26 Inception Basketball and NBA First Milestone Auto Relics.

Rob Gronkowski will also debut Gronk Geeks Out, a new series following him as he explores sports card collecting. The first installment will take place at the convention on August 1 and stream through eBay Live.

The eBay Arena will feature a large display of LeBron James memorabilia, along with a conversation involving Mike Bibby, Gary Payton, Kendrick Perkins and several of James’ former high school teammates.

Upper Deck will display authenticated Michael Jordan collectibles available through eBay. Collectors will be able to bid on 23 items from July 30 through August 9, including game-used memorabilia, signed jerseys and a one-of-a-kind full box of 1986-87 Fleer Basketball cards that has been slabbed, signed and inscribed.

eBay also announced that it will lower the minimum eligible trading card price for its Authenticity Guarantee service in the United States from $250 to $200. The expansion will apply to raw and graded cards, PSA Grading purchases and cards sent to the PSA Vault.

Convention visitors will also get an early look at new Authenticity Guarantee packaging designed to provide more protection for cards during shipping.

Interactive activities inside the eBay Arena will include a card pricing challenge, hobby trivia, a photo experience and opportunities for collectors to host live card breaks during eBay Trade Nights.

The eBay Arena is designed to give collectors attending The National, as well as those watching remotely, access to live breaks, auctions, athlete appearances and premium collectibles throughout the convention.
