U.S. Mint Sets $375 Price for 2026 Morgan and Peace Dollar Diamond Field Two-Coin Set

Morgan & Peace Diamond Field Two Coin Set

The United States Mint will release its new 2026 Morgan and Peace Dollar Diamond Field Two-Coin Set on November 12, introducing a never-before-used finish created specifically for the nation’s 250th anniversary. The set is priced at $375 and includes one 2026 Morgan Silver Dollar and one 2026 Peace Silver Dollar, both struck in .999 fine silver at the Philadelphia Mint. Sales will begin November 12 at noon Eastern Time, with a product limit of 262,500 sets.

The biggest change from previous modern Morgan and Peace Dollar releases is the new Diamond Field finish. According to the U.S. Mint, the striking process was engineered specifically for the Semiquincentennial and has not been used on any other coin.

Created using laser-engraved tooling, the finish produces a diamond pattern across the field of each coin that is designed to reflect light from multiple angles. The Mint describes it as a visual alternative to the traditional Proof finish, giving the familiar Morgan and Peace designs a different appearance for the 250th anniversary release.

Both coins also carry several anniversary-specific elements. Each features a “1776 ~ 2026” dual date along with a Liberty Bell privy mark containing the numeral “250,” directly connecting the two-coin set to the United States Semiquincentennial. The combination of the new finish, dual dates and Liberty Bell privy gives the 2026 set several features that distinguish it from earlier releases in the modern Morgan and Peace Dollar program.

The Mint also says the Diamond Field process provides greater efficiencies during manufacturing, describing the new technique as part of its broader effort to introduce new products and production methods. Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars have become an important part of the Mint’s modern collector lineup, and the Diamond Field set gives both historic designs a one-year anniversary treatment rather than simply returning them with their standard modern finish.

Collectors interested in the set can create a “Remind Me” alert through the U.S. Mint using product code 26XS. The Mint is also offering a Morgan and Peace Dollar Two-Coin Set subscription under code NL. With a product limit of 262,500 and a finish being used for the first time, the November release adds another distinct option to the growing lineup of coins created for the United States’ 250th anniversary.

The 2026 Morgan & Peace Diamond Field Two-Coin Set goes on sale November 12 at noon EST for $375 through the United States Mint.
