Spirit Christmas Expands to 44 Stores With Collectibles, Animatronics and Holiday Décor

Spirit Christmas is expanding its holiday retail footprint for 2026, with 39 additional stores preparing to open by November 7 and the seasonal chain growing to 44 locations across 15 states. Now entering its third season, Spirit Christmas is positioning the stores as a one-stop destination for holiday décor, gifts and seasonal collectibles. The company says shoppers will find an assortment that includes collectibles, ornaments, stockings, inflatables, animatronics, apparel, stocking stuffers, White Elephant gifts and exclusive seasonal merchandise, with many locations designed around an immersive holiday shopping experience rather than a traditional temporary retail setup.
The stores will also feature some much larger display pieces. Spirit Christmas says giant inflatables will tower over shoppers, with some even exceeding the height of a 12-foot Christmas tree. Nutcrackers, garlands, lights and other oversized décor will be mixed throughout the stores alongside smaller keepsakes and ornaments, creating a wide range of items for collectors interested in both traditional Christmas pieces and more unusual seasonal merchandise.
Spirit Christmas is also leaning into novelty gifts and humor for 2026. The company describes its assortment as including classic ornaments and keepsakes alongside quirkier and more unexpected items, as well as bold holiday sweaters and other merchandise designed for parties, gift exchanges and seasonal displays.
One of the in-store attractions highlighted in the announcement is the Candy Cane Express, part of the broader effort to turn the stores into a holiday destination rather than simply a place to shop. Spirit Christmas says the locations are intended to offer families a festive outing as well as access to seasonal merchandise.
By November 7, all 39 additional locations are expected to be welcoming shoppers. Combined with stores already operating, Spirit Christmas says its 2026 footprint will reach 44 locations across 15 states, extending from New England through Florida and west toward the Great Lakes.
A selection of Spirit Christmas products will also be available online for shoppers who do not live near one of the seasonal stores. Spirit Christmas says the 2026 expansion builds on the concept it has been developing since launching the holiday-focused chain, with the stores designed to combine large-scale displays, seasonal décor, gifts and collectibles in one location.
