Bratz Turns Alysa Liu’s Gold-Medal Look Into Special Edition Doll and Five Bratziez

Bratz is bringing Olympic champion Alysa Liu to the doll aisle with a new special edition fashion doll and a five-piece Bratziez collection inspired by some of her most recognizable skating looks. MGA Entertainment announced the Bratz x Alysa Liu collaboration, pairing the two-time Olympic gold medalist and 2025 World Champion with both a full-size Bratz fashion doll and a separate series of collectible blind-box Bratziez. The company says the collection is designed around Liu’s style on and off the ice, with several of her memorable competition and performance looks recreated in miniature form.
The centerpiece is the Bratz x Alysa Liu Special Edition Fashion Doll, which recreates Liu’s gold-winning dress designed by Lisa McKinnon. The outfit features an asymmetrical neckline, shimmering sequins and layers of golden fringe, while white ice skates and a gold medallion complete the skating look.
MGA also incorporated several of Liu’s personal features into the doll, including her blonde and brunette halo hair, beauty marks and freckles. The doll is articulated so fans can pose it in skating-inspired positions and comes in special edition packaging designed for display. Each doll includes the dress, ice skates, gold medallion, hairbrush and doll stand.
Alongside the full-size fashion doll, Bratz is launching the Bratziez x Alysa Liu Seriez Collection, a set of five smaller collectibles based on different moments from Liu’s skating career and personal style. MGA says the five designs include her warm-up outfit, gold-winning ensemble, “Promise” short-program look, sparkling blue gala dress and a fifth style inspired by her signature halo hair. Each Bratziez collectible comes hidden inside a blind box, meaning buyers will not know which Alysa Liu design they are getting until it is opened. The figures combine a sculpted hard face plate with a soft plush body and include a lip-shaped clip that allows them to be attached to purses, water bottles, gym bags and other accessories.
That blind-box format gives the collaboration a stronger collecting component than the single special edition doll alone. Fans hoping to complete the full Alysa Liu Bratziez lineup will have five different looks to track down, with each design tied to a specific outfit or visual element associated with Liu.
“Alysa is the kind of person you can’t take your eyes off of, and that goes well beyond her skating,” said Jasmin Larian Hekmat, President and Creative Director of Bratz. “She’s an inspiration. Not only because of everything she’s accomplished, but because of the freedom, joy, and individuality she brings to everything she does. She knows who she is, has fun with it, and inspires people to embrace that same confidence in themselves. That spirit is so Bratz. We wanted to get every detail right, from her halo hair to the way the fringe moves on her dress. She deserves to see herself in this collection and we’re so proud to celebrate her and honored to give a Bratz girl her very own Bratz moment.”
The Bratz x Alysa Liu Special Edition Fashion Doll and Bratziez x Alysa Liu Seriez Collection are available now through Bratz.com, with MGA saying additional retailers will carry the products later this year.
