Pentel Launches Limited-Edition Peanuts Collection With Snoopy, Charlie Brown and More

Peanuts Pentel

Pentel is bringing Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang to a new limited-edition stationery collection built around some of the company’s best-known pens and erasers. The Peanuts x Pentel lineup includes EnerGel RTX Gel Pens, RSVP Ballpoint Pens and Hi-Polymer Erasers decorated with character artwork from the long-running comic strip. Pentel is positioning the collaboration as both a functional stationery release and a collectible assortment for Peanuts fans.

The EnerGel RTX Gel Pens combine Pentel’s quick-drying gel ink with Peanuts-themed designs, while the RSVP Ballpoint Pens give one of the company’s longtime writing products a character-driven makeover. Hi-Polymer Erasers round out the collection with additional Peanuts artwork on another familiar Pentel staple.

Pentel said the collaboration is designed to appeal to students, professionals, stationery enthusiasts and longtime Peanuts collectors, with the products intended for everyday use as well as display or collecting. “Pentel and Peanuts are two brands with incredibly strong connections to creativity, self-expression and generations of fans,” said Jeff Werderman, director of marketing at Pentel of America. “This collaboration brings those qualities together in a collection that is both functional and fun. We’re excited to introduce these products and offer fans a fresh way to experience some of their favorite stationery items.”

Peanuts also pointed to the connection between the characters and traditional drawing and writing tools “Peanuts began with a pen and paper over 76 years ago, so partnering with Pentel was a natural fit for us,” said Jacqueline Demby, Director, Hardlines at Peanuts. “We’re excited to see fans of all ages express their creativity through this new collaboration.”

The timing puts the collection in stores during the fall and holiday shopping season, with Pentel presenting the pieces as an accessible option for gift giving as well as a way for fans to add Peanuts designs to desks, backpacks, pencil cases and creative spaces.

Unlike a larger display collectible, the appeal here comes from turning ordinary stationery into character merchandise that can still be used every day. For Peanuts collectors, the limited-edition branding also gives the pens and erasers a different angle from standard office supplies, particularly for fans who collect Snoopy and Charlie Brown merchandise across multiple categories.
