Sideshow Launches Deadly Red Krampus Ornament for Holiday Horror Collectors

Krampus Ornament

Sideshow is giving holiday decorating a horror twist with a new Der Krampus (Deadly Red) Ornament, a hand-painted color variant that reimagines the folklore figure in fiery red tones. The Sideshow Originals collectible is available now through Sideshow.com and measures approximately 6.5 inches tall and 5 inches wide. The sculpted portrait depicts Krampus with a snarling expression, curved horns, a massive gnarled beard, piercing gold eyes, pointed teeth and his signature winding tongue.

The Deadly Red version swaps a more traditional Krampus palette for a bright red face and pink tongue, giving the ornament an even more devilish appearance. Krampus is rooted in Alpine folklore, where the horned figure is associated with Krampusnacht and the punishment of naughty children. Sideshow leans heavily into that darker side of the holiday tradition with a design meant to be more frightening than festive.

The back of the ornament carries a burnished gold-colored Sideshow seal positioned above a red bow decorated with bells and pinecones. A black fabric ribbon at the top allows the piece to be hung as a traditional ornament. The release arrives during Sideshow’s annual Spooktacular celebration, which runs October 26 through October 31. The online Halloween event includes giveaways, games, livestreams and new horror collectible reveals. Sideshow is also offering $5 in Sideshow Rewards to fans who register for free event updates.

The Deadly Red ornament is not the only Krampus collectible currently in Sideshow’s lineup. Sideshow Originals is also taking preorders for a much larger Krampus Statue measuring 19 inches tall, 13.19 inches wide and 12.28 inches deep. The fully sculpted statue shows Krampus leaving a home with a wicker basket filled with naughty children while another potential victim hides beneath snow-covered stairs.

The scene is built around a circular base inspired by traditional wood carvings, with Krampus shown pursuing his victims with claws extended. The staircase and paving stones are covered with snow and finished with spot gloss to create a wet appearance, while pinecones and evergreen tinsel wrap around the banister. Additional details include Krampus’ large teeth and tongue, a bundled switch and a Naughty List hanging at his side. The statue also gives the character an asymmetrical appearance, with one cloven hoof and one gnarled foot as he moves down the staircase.

While the larger statue is designed as a centerpiece display, the new Deadly Red ornament gives collectors a smaller seasonal option that can be hung on a tree or displayed alongside other horror-themed holiday pieces. The Der Krampus (Deadly Red) Ornament is available now through Sideshow.com, while the larger Krampus Statue is currently available for preorder.
