Avengers: Doomsday Collectible Magnets Revealed by Jack in the Box

Jack in the Box is getting ready for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday with a new limited-time meal built around dipping sauces, custom movie packaging and a set of eight collectible magnets fans can assemble together. The Avengers: Doomsday promotion begins November 5 at participating Jack in the Box restaurants nationwide, ahead of the film’s December 18 theatrical release.

At the center of the collaboration is the new Doomsday Dipping Box, which includes Popcorn Chicken, two Mozzarella Sticks, two Jack in the Box tacos, seasoned curly fries and a drink. The meal also comes with three themed dipping sauces. Assemble Sauce is an all-new mystery sauce created for the promotion, Mutant Marinara brings back a limited-time marinara option, and Fantastic Buttermilk Ranch gives Jack in the Box’s familiar ranch a Fantastic Four-inspired name.

However, the biggest draw may be what comes with the food. Jack in the Box has created eight special-edition Avengers: Doomsday magnets for the promotion. Each Doomsday Dipping Box includes one magnet packaged randomly in a blind bag while supplies last, giving customers no advance indication of which design they will receive.

The eight magnets are also designed to connect with one another like puzzle pieces. Collectors who find the entire set can assemble all eight into a larger connected display. Jack in the Box did not reveal the individual magnet designs in the initial announcement, so the full lineup remains part of the surprise when the promotion launches.

The packaging itself is also part of the promotion. The Doomsday Dipping Box will be served in custom Avengers: Doomsday-themed packaging, adding another physical component for fans who collect fast-food collaborations and movie tie-ins.

Two returning Jack in the Box menu items are also part of the campaign. Popcorn Chicken returns in Small and Big Boxes as well as a combo meal, while Mozzarella Sticks will be available separately in four-piece and six-piece orders served with Mutant Marinara.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday brings together heroes from three different universes against what Marvel describes as an existential threat. The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and features an extensive cast including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Paul Rudd, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden and others.

The Doomsday Dipping Box and eight collectible magnets launch November 5 at participating Jack in the Box locations nationwide. The meal will also be available through the Jack app and JackintheBox.com for a limited time while supplies last.
