Hellbreak TCG Adds A Quiet Place, Sleepy Hollow and Smile to First 200-Card Set

Hellbreak Trading Card Game

Spin Master is expanding the monster lineup for its upcoming Hellbreak trading card game, adding characters and settings from Paramount Pictures properties including A Quiet Place, Sleepy Hollow and Smile. The new licensing agreement was just announced, with the Paramount properties joining the inaugural Hellbreak card set scheduled for release in January 2027. Spin Master says the first set will contain more than 200 cards built around seven different properties.

Among the newly announced cards will be the Death Angels from A Quiet Place, the Headless Horseman from Sleepy Hollow and the entity from Smile. Those characters will become part of a larger crossover-style horror universe in which monsters from different franchises can face one another through the game.

Hellbreak is being developed by Spin Master in collaboration with Ghost Galaxy. The company describes the trading card game as a head-to-head battle system built around legendary monsters, with players assembling decks from characters drawn from multiple horror franchises.

“We’ve set out to create an unprecedented lineup of horror IP for Hellbreak to deliver a trading card game experience like no other,” said Doug Wadleigh, Spin Master’s President, Toys. “Adding Paramount Pictures’ deep catalogue of terrifying monsters will elevate the gameplay experience and we’re eager to see how players use these iconic characters when building their decks.”

The first Hellbreak set will draw from properties licensed from Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures and Horror Inc. Spin Master says seven distinct properties will be represented in the inaugural release. The Paramount announcement also makes clear that the January set is intended to be only the beginning of the game’s horror crossover lineup. Spin Master says future expansions will add characters from additional studios, including previously announced partners AMC Global Media, Blumhouse and Lionsgate, along with Universal Pictures, which the company describes as a creative cornerstone partner for Hellbreak.

Hellbreak TCG launches in January 2027 and will be available through game and hobby stores as well as Amazon. Spin Master says additional characters and franchises will continue to join the game through future expansions.
