Panini America has signed Germany and Liverpool FC midfielder Florian Wirtz to an exclusive multi-year trading card and memorabilia agreement, adding the 23-year-old soccer star to a Panini Authentic roster that already includes Kylian Mbappé and Christian Pulisic.

The agreement will bring Wirtz into Panini’s soccer trading card collections while also making signed memorabilia available directly through the company. Initial Wirtz items are available through Panini America’s Panini Authentic memorabilia shop.

Panini says Wirtz will be featured across its line of soccer trading card products and will also participate in select marketing initiatives. “Florian Wirtz is one of the most exciting young players in the world, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to our outstanding team of Panini athletes,” said Jason Howarth, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Athlete Relations at Panini America. “We look forward to creating exciting products and experiences for Florian’s many fans around the world.”

The partnership also has a personal connection for Wirtz, who said he collected Panini products growing up. “I grew up collecting Panini stickers, so being part of the Panini family now is something really special for me,” Wirtz said. “I’m excited to create unique products together and to give fans around the world new ways to connect with me and the game.”

Wirtz is in his second season with Liverpool FC after spending six seasons with Bayer Leverkusen in Germany’s Bundesliga. During his time with Leverkusen, he helped the club win the Bundesliga and German Cup and was named Bundesliga Player of the Season for 2023-24. He was also named German Footballer of the Year in 2025 and made his FIFA World Cup debut for Germany earlier in 2026.

Panini already holds a wide range of soccer licenses. The company is FIFA’s exclusive partner for official stickers, trading cards, trading-card games and digital collectibles, and its other soccer relationships include U.S. Soccer, the USMNT, USWNTPA, La Liga, the NWSL, NWSLPA, the English Football League and the Barclays Women’s Super League.

Panini’s history in soccer collectibles dates to the company’s founding in 1961 and its work with Italy’s Serie A, while its FIFA World Cup partnership dates back to 1970.
