Burger King Launches Hello Kitty Blind-Box Toys With Golden Chase and One-of-One 14K Gold-Plated Figurine

Burger King Hello Kitty Toys

Burger King is teaming up with Sanrio for a new Hello Kitty and Friends King Jr. Kids’ Meal featuring six exclusive blind-box toys, including a limited golden-colored Hello Kitty chase figure. The promotion begins October 20 at participating Burger King restaurants nationwide. Each King Jr. Meal includes one mystery toy, so customers will not know which character they received until opening the box. The collection includes Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll and Keroppi, each wearing a Burger King crown, with some characters also holding familiar Burger King items.

Burger King says a limited number of golden-colored Hello Kitty toys are mixed into the six-toy lineup. According to the announcement, some customers who find the special gold-colored figure may also uncover a complete set of all six Hello Kitty and Friends figurines at participating restaurants while supplies last.

The collectible promotion also includes Hello Kitty and Friends-themed King Jr. Meal packaging and an exclusive paper crown. Meal options include four- or six-piece chicken nuggets, a hamburger or cheeseburger, plus fries or applesauce and a drink.

Burger King is taking the gold theme a step further with a one-day event in California featuring an even rarer Hello Kitty collectible. On October 23 beginning at 11 AM PT, the Burger King at 10014 Paramount Blvd. in Downey will host a customized Golden Claw Machine. Customers who purchase a King Jr. Meal can try the machine for a chance to grab a Hello Kitty toy, while one participant could win a one-of-one 14K gold-plated Hello Kitty figurine. A no-purchase method of entry will also be available under the promotion’s official rules. The Golden Claw Machine promotion is scheduled to run until 5 PM PT or until all prizes have been awarded, whichever comes first.

The one-of-one gold-plated figurine is separate from the golden-colored Hello Kitty toy appearing in regular King Jr. Meal blind boxes. Burger King describes the restaurant release as a limited golden-colored toy, while the Downey prize is specifically identified as a one-of-one 14K gold-plated figurine.

The Hello Kitty and Friends King Jr. Kids’ Meal will be available beginning October 20 at participating Burger King restaurants nationwide for a limited time and while supplies last.
