McDonald’s Launches Five Disney Villains Boo Buckets Featuring Maleficent, Ursula, Scar and More

McDonald’s is bringing its Boo Buckets back for Halloween with a Disney Villains makeover, introducing five collectible designs inspired by some of Disney’s most recognizable antagonists. The Disney Villains Boo Buckets Happy Meal launches October 20 at participating McDonald’s restaurants and features separate designs based on Jafar, Ursula, Scar, Cruella and Maleficent.

Each bucket comes with a villain-inspired lid along with stickers featuring characters and other details connected to the individual Disney Villain. The five-character lineup gives collectors a complete set to chase, with each bucket built around a different character and personality. Jafar represents the scheming royal adviser from Aladdin, Ursula brings The Little Mermaid’s sea-witch theme, Scar represents The Lion King, Cruella comes from 101 Dalmatians, and Maleficent represents Sleeping Beauty.

McDonald’s describes the collection as five “wickedly collectible” Boo Bucket designs and is encouraging fans to collect the entire group. The collaboration also gives McDonald’s familiar Halloween promotion a new licensed theme. Rather than using only the traditional Boo Bucket characters and designs associated with previous releases, the 2026 collection puts Disney Villains at the center of the promotion.

The buckets are being offered through Happy Meals at McDonald’s beginning October 20 for a limited time and while supplies last.
