Sold-Out Pokémon TCG x Santa Cruz Skateboard Decks May Get Second Chance Monday as Bot Orders Are Cancelled

Collectors who missed out on the new Pokémon TCG x Santa Cruz Skateboards blind bag decks may get another chance Monday. The limited-edition collaboration launched October 17 and quickly became difficult to buy, with Santa Cruz’s official collection page listing the $139.95 blind bag deck as sold out. But NHS Skate Direct has now added an unusually direct update to the product listing: bot-assisted orders are being cancelled, and some of those units may be released back to the public on Monday, October 19.
“AS PROMISED, ALL BOTS ORDERS ARE BEING CANCELLED, MORE UNITS MAY RERELEASE TO THE PUBLIC ON MONDAY,” the official listing states. Santa Cruz is also enforcing a limit of two decks per customer. The company says bot-assisted purchases will either be blocked or identified and cancelled, while repeat orders being shipped to the same address will also be cancelled. Opened blind bags cannot be returned.
That could send at least some inventory from cancelled orders back into circulation just days after the initial release. Santa Cruz has not announced how many decks could become available again or an exact time for a possible Monday restock, so collectors will need to watch the official NHS Skate Direct product page.
The release is part of the celebration of 30 years of Pokémon and takes the blind-bag concept normally associated with smaller collectibles into a much larger format. Each package contains one 8-inch by 31.6-inch Santa Cruz skateboard deck, with 30 different standard Pokémon TCG designs in the collection. The boards use original Pokémon Trading Card Game artwork incorporated into new skateboard graphics that highlight elements including Energy types and themes associated with the individual Pokémon and cards.
There are also three limited gold-glitter chase variants. Rather than featuring a single card design, each of those decks carries a collage of 10 Pokémon TCG cards, giving the release 30 standard designs plus three special chase boards. The blind packaging means buyers do not know which design they are getting until the deck is opened. Every deck is accompanied by a limited-edition Pokémon Player’s Guide showing all 30 regular designs and the chase variants, along with Pokémon information and the different names the characters are known by around the world. A collectible co-branded sticker is included as well.
Santa Cruz and Pokémon also expanded the collaboration beyond the decks with Pokémon TCG apparel and skateboard griptape. The broader collection includes designs created around the visual histories of both brands, but the blind bag decks have become the centerpiece of the drop. The skateboards themselves use Santa Cruz’s seven-ply North American maple construction, with each deck individually pressed using epoxy. The 8-inch decks feature the company’s 3D concave construction and a matte finish.
The possible Monday rerelease is particularly noteworthy because it will not be a traditional restock announced as a second production run. Santa Cruz specifically says the potential additional inventory is connected to its cancellation of bot-assisted orders from the original release. That means the number of decks returning will depend on how many purchases the company identifies and cancels. As of this weekend, Santa Cruz’s main Pokémon collection page lists the blind bag deck as sold out, while the individual product listing carries the warning that additional units “may rerelease to the public on Monday.” The wording stops short of guaranteeing a restock.
The Pokémon TCG x Santa Cruz Blind Bag Skateboard Deck is priced at $139.95, with a two-per-customer limit. Collectors who came up empty during the October 17 launch now have at least one more date to watch: Monday, October 19.
