Nintendo Makes Hundreds of Store-Exclusive Collectibles Available Nationwide for Holiday Season

Nintendo Exclusive Merchandise

Nintendo is opening up access to hundreds of collectibles and merchandise items that previously required a trip to its New York or San Francisco stores, making select store-exclusive products available nationwide online for the first time as part of its 2026 holiday plans. The expanded online selection includes exclusive merchandise, collectibles and apparel inspired by Nintendo franchises including Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, Pikmin and Splatoon. The items can now be purchased through Nintendo.com and the Nintendo Store app, giving collectors outside New York and San Francisco access to merchandise that had previously been limited to Nintendo’s physical retail stores.

Nintendo did not provide a complete list of the newly available products in its announcement, but said hundreds of select items are included in the expansion. That makes the online rollout one of the more significant changes for collectors who have followed merchandise exclusive to Nintendo NEW YORK and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO.

More exclusive merchandise is coming to the physical stores for the holidays as well. Beginning in mid-November, both locations will receive festive window displays and seasonal décor along with exclusive holiday merchandise, including the Super Mario Winter Collection. Nintendo says additional seasonal apparel and accessories will also be available.

Collectors visiting the stores will also have another limited item to watch for. Nintendo says a gift with purchase will be offered for a limited time while supplies last, although the company has not revealed what the gift will be or the minimum purchase amount required to receive it.

Nintendo NEW YORK will add special holiday events beginning in early December, including appearances by Mario and Luigi. The company says additional information about the in-store festivities will be announced through the Nintendo Store’s social media accounts.

One fan will get a particularly elaborate way to experience those events through the Nintendo NEW YORK My Nintendo Holiday Magic Sweepstakes. The promotion runs through November 2 and offers a three-day, two-night trip to New York City for the winner and up to three guests, with travel taking place between December 3 and December 7. The prize includes JetBlue travel certificates for roundtrip base airfare, two nights of hotel accommodations, ground transportation, a VIP tour or experience at Nintendo NEW YORK and access to holiday event activities, depending on timing and availability. Nintendo values the prize package at approximately $3,271.

Nintendo Account members can enter by redeeming 10 My Nintendo Platinum Points per entry, with a limit of 10 entries per person. No purchase is necessary, and the sweepstakes is open to eligible adults in the contiguous United States and Washington, D.C.

Nintendo is also returning to another major holiday tradition. The Mario balloon will fly again during the 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 26. The parade will air beginning at 8:30 AM across all time zones on NBC, Peacock and Telemundo.
