BACARDÍ Launches Glow-in-the-Dark Ghost Bottle as Crypt Keeper Returns for Halloween

Bacardi Rum Spookito

BACARDÍ is leaning heavily into Halloween nostalgia this year with a new limited-edition glow-in-the-dark Ghost Bottle, the return of the Crypt Keeper for AMC’s 30th anniversary of FearFest, and another collaboration with Janelle Monáe’s Wondaween festival. The centerpiece for collectors is the limited-edition BACARDÍ Superior Ghost Bottle, which features a ghost-themed design that glows in the dark. The bottle contains BACARDÍ Superior white rum and is being released nationwide as part of the brand’s 2026 Halloween campaign. BACARDÍ describes the bottle itself as a collectible, making it one of the more tangible pieces of merchandise tied to the broader seasonal promotion.

The Halloween campaign also reaches back to one of the most recognizable horror characters of the 1990s. BACARDÍ is returning as presenting sponsor of AMC’s FearFest, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and the Crypt Keeper is back as the event’s official host throughout the month. The character will appear in five new custom vignettes directed by special effects artist Greg Nicotero, with original Crypt Keeper voice actor John Kassir returning to the role.

One new Crypt Keeper video is scheduled to debut each week leading into Halloween across social platforms, AMC+ and Shudder. The promotion also coincides with the return of Tales From the Crypt episodes to AMC and Shudder, giving the campaign a strong nostalgia component beyond the limited-edition bottle itself.

BACARDÍ is also continuing its Halloween partnership with Janelle Monáe. The company will return as the exclusive spirits sponsor of Monáe’s Wondaween Festival, which this year moves into a new “Creature Carnival” theme following last year’s Vampire Beach concept. Events are planned for October 29 and October 31.

The company’s Halloween programming extends into another horror-focused collaboration with UPROXX called “Good Spirits.” The content series will feature Freddie Prinze Jr., Fairuza Balk and Lauren LaVera discussing their Halloween traditions, music, cocktails and memories.

Between the collectible bottle, the Crypt Keeper’s FearFest comeback and the latest chapter of Wondaween, BACARDÍ’s 2026 campaign brings together a mix of new Halloween merchandise and familiar horror characters from multiple generations.
