Panini Adds Prizm Black, Donruss Optic and Crown Royale to 2026 NWSL Trading Card Lineup

Panini America is expanding its first year as the exclusive trading card partner of the National Women’s Soccer League and the NWSL Players Association with three new products arriving this fall: 2026 NWSL Prizm Black Soccer, 2026 Donruss Optic NWSL and 2026 NWSL Crown Royale Soccer. The three releases build on Panini’s inaugural 2026 Donruss NWSL Soccer collection and give collectors several different ways to chase the league’s players, from autographs and memorabilia cards to some of Panini’s best-known inserts.
Prizm Black may draw the most immediate attention from collectors because of the inserts Panini is bringing into the product. The set includes Color Blast, Stained Glass and Manga cards, along with autographs from players across the NWSL. Each Prizm Black hobby box contains 10 packs with five cards per pack. On average, collectors will find 20 Prizm cards, 10 inserts and two autographs in every hobby box.
Donruss Optic takes a broader approach with a 200-card base set and a lineup of inserts that includes Downtown, Night Moves, Tunnel Vision, Net Marvels, Pitch Queens and the new Kismet insert. The First Off The Line configuration includes three autograph or memorabilia cards, 16 inserts, four numbered parallels, 12 additional parallels, 16 Rated Rookies and one FOTL-exclusive parallel. Panini says the standard Hobby box uses the same configuration, except for the exclusive FOTL parallel.
Crown Royale brings another group of familiar Panini chase cards into the NWSL lineup. Each hobby box contains one autograph, two memorabilia cards, two base parallels and one insert, with Panini’s Kaboom! inserts included in the collection. The new releases give collectors access to several of Panini’s established brands during the first season of the company’s multi-year NWSL and NWSLPA partnership.
“We are proud and excited to be offering our initial NWSL trading card sets, celebrating the league’s outstanding athletes and clubs,” said Jason Howarth, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Athlete Relations at Panini America. “These releases offer fans and collectors an exciting range of cards to discover and enjoy, while highlighting our iconic Panini brands, including Prizm Black. As we look ahead, we are excited to build on our partnership with the NWSL and expand our offerings even further.”
All three sets are scheduled to arrive this fall at Target, Walmart, other major retailers and hobby shops nationwide. They will also be available through Panini’s website. Panini will continue producing NWSL cards through its Panini Instant platform as well, with cards commemorating notable moments throughout the season.
