Image Comics Brings Krishna: A Journey Within Back to Print for 15th Anniversary With New Cover

Krishna: A Journey Within

Image Comics is bringing Abhishek Singh’s “Krishna: A Journey Within” back to print in 2027, marking the graphic novel’s 15th anniversary with a new cover and a fresh physical release. The graphic novel reimagines the life and teachings of Krishna through Singh’s artwork, following the character’s journey from divine child to cosmic guide. Image Comics describes the work as combining philosophical themes with a visual approach built around lush color, cinematic scale and a meditative atmosphere.

The new edition is scheduled to arrive first at local comic book shops on February 17, 2027. It will then reach independent bookstores and major booksellers including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Indigo and Waterstones on March 16.

The most notable change is the brand-new cover created for the 15th-anniversary return. Image Comics did not announce alternate covers, special editions or a limited print run in its release, so the new cover is currently the primary physical distinction announced for the 2027 edition.

“Krishna: A Journey Within” explores themes including duty, desire, identity and enlightenment as it retells Krishna’s story through Singh’s interpretation. Image Comics characterizes the book as both a graphic novel and a spiritual experience, emphasizing the philosophical dimension alongside the artwork.

Image Comics is also making the book available digitally across a wide range of platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Google Play, Apple’s iBooks, Barnes & Noble’s Nook, Everand, Kobo, Overdrive, Hoopla, Sweet and Comics Plus.

“Krishna: A Journey Within” returns to comic shops February 17, 2027, with wider bookstore availability beginning March 16.
