Hallmark Adds More Than 150 New Keepsake Ornaments for Annual October Debut

Hallmark is adding another major wave of collectibles to its 2026 Keepsake Ornament lineup, with more than 150 new ornaments set to debut during its annual Keepsake Ornament Debut event from October 10 through October 18. The new releases will be available at Hallmark Gold Crown stores and online, expanding a holiday collection that already includes a wide mix of entertainment properties, long-running ornament series and interactive designs.
Among the more elaborate pieces in the latest assortment is the National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation Griswold Family Christmas Tabletop Decoration. The interactive display changes depending on which characters are placed in its snowbank, triggering different combinations of dialogue, lights and music.
Hallmark is also continuing several entertainment-focused collections that are likely to draw interest from franchise collectors. A new A Charlie Brown Christmas ornament features the Peanuts gang on a vintage television set. Pressing a button plays a video clip from the classic holiday special, combining the traditional ornament format with an interactive screen element.
The Lord of the Rings collectors are getting another addition to Hallmark’s Fellowship of the Ring Storytellers collection. Gandalf the Grey joins Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee, which were released earlier in the year. Each ornament includes dialogue, while connecting the pieces together unlocks additional performances. Hallmark said the single-year Storytellers collection was created in recognition of the 25th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. The ornament bases were designed to resemble windows from hobbit homes, adding another detail aimed directly at fans of the film.
The Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Storytellers collection is also getting its final piece with an Albus Dumbledore ornament. When all of the ornaments in that collection are connected, they unlock additional interactive performances.
Not everything in the October release is tied to a movie or television franchise. Hallmark is also introducing ornaments based on hobbies, traditional Christmas imagery and personal milestones. Those releases include Merry Pickleball and Light Holiday Reading, along with Snowball Fun, an interactive ornament featuring penguins having a snowball fight while “Deck the Halls” plays. A Vintage Santa design offers a more traditional option.
Hallmark Channel fans are also getting an ornament featuring actor Tyler Hynes. Other additions are centered around major life events, including Our Engagement, Wedding Cake, Baby’s First Christmas and Home Sweet New Home. Family-themed designs include Our Family Christmas, Dad and Me and Mom and Me.
Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments have now been produced for more than 50 years. According to the company, Hallmark has introduced more than 10,000 different Keepsake Ornaments and more than 100 recurring ornament series over that time. The ornaments have been made from materials including wood, glass, metal and porcelain, with some incorporating light, sound and motion.
That long history has helped turn the annual Hallmark ornament calendar into more than simply a seasonal retail event. Individual franchises, discontinued series, character designs and earlier annual releases have all developed dedicated collector followings, and Hallmark continues to build around that audience with connected sets and ornaments that are designed to be collected across multiple releases.
The 2026 Keepsake Ornament Debut runs October 10 through October 18 at Hallmark Gold Crown stores and through Hallmark’s website.
