Panini Instant Celebrates Angel Reese Defensive Player of the Year Win With New Cards and Galaxy 1/1

Panini America is marking Angel Reese’s latest career milestone with a new group of Panini Instant cards celebrating the Atlanta Dream forward becoming the first Defensive Player of the Year winner in franchise history.

The cards are scheduled to go on sale October 5 at 3 PM ET through Panini Instant, the company’s real-time card program built around major sports moments and achievements. Panini says the release will be available only for a limited time and in limited quantities while supplies last.

Alongside the standard Instant release, Panini is also offering a Galaxy 1/1 card tied to Reese’s Defensive Player of the Year honor. The one-of-one gives collectors an ultra-limited version of the milestone card and adds a major chase piece to the release.

Prices begin at $9.99 and increase depending on the card variation. Panini says orders will ship within approximately 20 to 25 business days after the ordering window closes.

The release fits the purpose of the Panini Instant program, which is designed to commemorate major achievements as they happen rather than making collectors wait for a traditional set months later. In Reese’s case, the card captures a franchise first for the Dream and gives collectors a same-day opportunity to pick up a piece tied directly to the award.

The Angel Reese Defensive Player of the Year Panini Instant cards and Galaxy 1/1 are scheduled to become available October 5 at 3 PM ET, with quantities limited and availability continuing only while supplies last.
