Freddy Krueger Glove From ‘Freddy vs. Jason’ Heads to Auction at Goldin

Freddy Krueger Glove

One of horror’s most recognizable weapons is heading to the auction block, with a production-made Freddy Krueger glove from the 2003 film Freddy vs. Jason now being offered through Goldin. The glove is part of Goldin’s 2026 Fall Movie Prop & Memorabilia Auction, which opened October 3. Goldin highlighted the piece on its official X account with the line, “This glove was made for nightmares,” describing it as coming directly from Freddy vs. Jason and bringing Freddy Krueger’s signature bladed weapon from the film world into a collector’s hands.

Goldin identifies the piece as a production-made Freddy Krueger glove from Freddy vs. Jason. That distinction is important for collectors because the auction house is not presenting it simply as a commercially produced replica. It is being offered as an item made in connection with the production of the 2003 movie.

The custom-fitted brown leather glove features Freddy’s articulated finger extensions and curved stainless-steel blades, with a thick copper backplate bolted and riveted over the hand. Measuring approximately 15 by 7 inches, the glove was deliberately weathered and stitched to create the distressed appearance associated with Freddy’s weapon on screen.

The piece also shows signs of both production use and age. Goldin notes patination to the copper, mild oxidation on some of the metal components and evidence of skin oil or lotion inside the glove. According to Ursa Authentic, the glove was produced for Freddy vs. Jason and made to be worn by Robert Englund during filming. The lot is accompanied by an Opinion of Authenticity from Ursa Authentic.

The glove immediately stands out in an auction filled with recognizable Hollywood memorabilia because of how closely Freddy’s weapon is tied to the character himself. The leather glove fitted with long metal blades has been a defining part of Freddy Krueger’s appearance throughout the franchise, and Freddy vs. Jason placed it at the center of a crossover that brought two of horror’s best-known villains together.

Goldin is offering the glove as part of a larger movie memorabilia sale that also includes props and costumes from a range of films. The Fall Movie Prop & Memorabilia Auction remains open for regular bidding through October 28, with extended bidding beginning at 10 PM ET.

The timing also puts the auction squarely in the Halloween season, giving horror collectors a chance to pursue a production-connected piece from Freddy vs. Jason just weeks before the holiday. The Freddy Krueger glove offers the kind of instantly identifiable display piece that does not need much explanation. Even removed from the character’s red-and-green sweater and burned makeup, the bladed glove is enough to immediately evoke Freddy, making this one of the more visually distinctive lots in Goldin’s fall movie prop sale.
