Toybox Adds Harry Potter to 3D Printing Platform With Wands, Character Figures and More

Harry Potter Toybox

Harry Potter is coming to the Toybox 3D printing platform, giving fans the ability to create officially licensed wands, character figures, accessories and other Wizarding World-inspired items at home. Toybox announced the expansion of its partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, with the first Harry Potter designs scheduled to arrive October 23. The launch marks the first time the franchise has been added to Toybox’s library of printable creations.

The initial collection will focus on one of the most recognizable parts of the Harry Potter universe: the characters’ wands. Toybox is launching intricately designed replicas inspired by the wands belonging to Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, allowing users to print their own versions through the Toybox ecosystem.

More designs will follow later in the fall. Toybox says collectible figures of Harry, Ron and Hermione are on the way, along with several familiar companions. Hedwig, Harry’s snowy owl, Crookshanks, Hermione’s cat, and Scabbers, Ron’s pet rat, are all included in the planned expansion. Future releases will continue adding printable characters, creatures and objects from the Wizarding World.

The collaboration is designed around Toybox’s push-button approach to home 3D printing. Rather than downloading unofficial files from around the internet, users will be able to access licensed Harry Potter designs directly through the platform and create physical collectibles, keepsakes and accessories using a Toybox printer.

“At Toybox, our mission is to inspire creativity by bringing world-class stories and characters into the hands of kids and families,” said Ben Baltes, CEO of Toybox. “Harry Potter has captivated generations through its themes of friendship, courage, and imagination, making it a natural fit for our platform. We’re thrilled to work with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to give fans a new way to engage with the wizarding world through hands-on creativity and play.”

Toybox says its platform currently offers more than 20,000 printable toys and includes an integrated CAD design studio and STEM-focused apps. The company already has licensing agreements covering properties from Warner Bros., Universal, Paramount, NASA, Penn & Teller and Sanrio.

The Harry Potter rollout begins October 23 with the wand collection, followed by the first character figures and companions later in the fall. Toybox says the collection will continue growing over time, giving fans an expanding library of officially licensed Harry Potter items they can print and collect at home.
