Panini Score-A-Treat Returns for 2026 With Multi-Sport Halloween Cards, Autographs and New HEXED Insert

Panini Score-A-Treat

Panini is bringing back Score-A-Treat for Halloween 2026, and this year the seasonal trading card release is expanding beyond a single sport with players from basketball, football, baseball and fighting all included in the lineup. The 2026 edition once again builds the set around Halloween-themed card designs, beginning with a special Base set and themed Base Subsets including Haunted House and Monster Bash. Panini is also loading the release with a wide range of seasonal parallels, including Pumpkins, Slime and Holo Webs, giving collectors several different versions to chase across the checklist.

Some of the scarcer parallels come with serial numbering. Holo Black Cats are numbered to 175, Holo Skeletons are numbered to 149 and Holo Spooky parallels are limited to 99 copies. The mix gives Score-A-Treat a familiar rainbow-style collecting structure while keeping the designs tied closely to the Halloween theme.

Autographs are also returning for 2026. Panini says randomly inserted signed cards can be found in Base Holo Autographs, Haunted House Holo Autographs and Monster Bash Holo Autographs. That gives collectors a chance to pull signatures from players featured throughout the multi-sport checklist rather than limiting the product entirely to base cards and parallels.

The biggest new addition for 2026 is HEXED, a brand-new super short-printed insert. Panini has not provided an exact print run for the insert, but is positioning it as one of the most difficult cards to find in the product and one of the primary chase elements for this year’s release.

Score-A-Treat has traditionally been built around the idea of trading card packs serving as a Halloween alternative to conventional candy, and the 2026 release continues that concept while broadening the range of athletes collectors can find. With basketball, football, baseball and fighting all represented, the product now gives collectors a much wider mix of rookies, veterans and legends in a single seasonal release.

Between the Halloween-themed parallels, numbered Holo Black Cats, Holo Skeletons and Holo Spooky cards, randomly inserted autographs and the new HEXED super short print, Panini is giving the 2026 Score-A-Treat release considerably more depth for collectors looking beyond the standard base set.
