Jiffy Lube Giving Away Exclusive Matchbox The Movie Dodge Durango Die-Cast
Jiffy Lube is teaming up with Mattel’s Matchbox The Movie for a limited-time promotion that gives customers an exclusive Matchbox die-cast car with a qualifying oil change. Beginning October 2, customers who purchase a qualifying Full Synthetic Oil Change at participating Jiffy Lube locations will receive a free Jiffy Lube-branded Matchbox model while supplies last. The exclusive collectible is a 2018 Dodge Durango inspired by the vehicle featured in Matchbox The Movie.
Mattel created the die-cast specifically for the collaboration rather than pulling an existing Matchbox release into the promotion. The Durango comes packaged on premium Matchbox The Movie blister card artwork, giving collectors a movie-themed piece that also carries Jiffy Lube branding.
For Matchbox collectors, the distribution method is a little different from a typical retail release. The Durango is not being offered as a standard purchase. Instead, it is tied to the qualifying Jiffy Lube service, and availability will vary by participating location as supplies run out. Jiffy Lube is directing customers to its website to locate participating service centers.

Matchbox The Movie, a live-action feature inspired by Mattel’s long-running vehicle brand, premieres globally October 9 on Apple TV. The Jiffy Lube giveaway begins one week earlier on October 2, giving collectors an early piece of merchandise connected to the film.
The exclusive 2018 Dodge Durango will remain available only at participating Jiffy Lube locations and only while supplies last, making the promotion one collectors may want to check locally rather than assuming the model will remain available throughout the movie’s release.
