Hot Toys Superior Iron Man Figure First Look Unboxing Revealed by Sideshow
Sideshow is giving Marvel collectors a closer look at Hot Toys’ new Superior Iron Man 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure ahead of its worldwide release. Inspired by the character’s appearance in Marvel Comics, the figure is constructed with premium diecast materials and finished in metallic silver with an electroplated coating. The design leans heavily into the futuristic look of Superior Iron Man, with removable chest armor that exposes detailed internal mechanical components beneath the outer shell.
Lighting is a major part of the display. Hot Toys has equipped the figure with full-body LED illumination that produces a blue glow across multiple areas, including the arms, palms, legs and abdomen. The circle-shaped arc reactor in the chest also lights up, helping recreate the more advanced, high-tech appearance of the armor.
The figure includes six interchangeable hands, giving collectors options for both combat poses and more traditional Iron Man display stances. Hot Toys is also including a specially designed metallic silver figure stand with its own LED light-up base, which reflects light back across the armor when the figure is displayed.
Sideshow’s latest unboxing video offers a first look at the finished collectible before its worldwide release. The Superior Iron Man 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Hot Toys is currently available for pre-order through Sideshow.
The release is part of a broader group of Superior Iron Man and Marvel Comics collectibles from Hot Toys and Sideshow. A separate Superior Iron Man (Infamous Neon) 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure reworks the silver armor in a darker black and metallic finish while retaining the diecast construction and integrated LED lighting. That version is limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide and is currently available through a waitlist.
Hot Toys is also offering the Iron Man Suit Armor (Deluxe Version) 1/6 Scale Figure, another comics-inspired diecast release featuring clear armor sections and LED lighting. The Deluxe Version adds a workshop diorama with articulated gantry arms, additional armor pieces, holographic screen accessories and further light-up elements.
Sideshow also highlighted the Iron Man: Fire and Fury Fine Art Lithograph by Alex Ross. Originally created as the cover of Iron Man #3 from 2020, the print is limited to 250 pieces, is hand-signed by Ross and includes a Sideshow Certificate of Authenticity.
