Hot Toys Poe Dameron Figure From Star Wars: The Force Awakens First Look Unboxing Revealed by Sideshow
Sideshow is giving Star Wars collectors a closer look at Hot Toys’ new Poe Dameron 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure ahead of its worldwide release. Inspired by Poe’s appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the figure features a newly detailed headsculpt designed to capture Oscar Isaac’s likeness as the Resistance pilot. Hot Toys has also incorporated its rolling eyeball system, allowing collectors to adjust Poe’s gaze for different poses and expressions. With more than 30 points of articulation and an assortment of interchangeable gesture hands, the figure is designed for a wide range of display options.
Poe is dressed in his Resistance X-wing pilot gear from the film, including an orange flight suit with weathering effects, a white vest and a pilot helmet equipped with a comlink and visor. The weathered finish is intended to give the uniform a more lived-in appearance rather than the look of a newly issued flight suit.
The accessory selection includes a blaster pistol, gloves and a life-support unit, giving collectors the pieces needed to recreate Poe’s pilot look from The Force Awakens. Combined with the articulated body and interchangeable hands, the accessories allow the figure to be posed either as a pilot preparing for a mission or in more action-oriented scenes.
Sideshow’s new unboxing video provides a first look at the finished collectible just before its worldwide release. The Poe Dameron 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Hot Toys is currently available for pre-order through Sideshow.
Sideshow is also highlighting another recent Star Wars sixth-scale release, the limited-edition Luke Skywalker Artisan Edition figure inspired by Mark Hamill’s appearance in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. That figure features adjustable eyes and implanted woolen hair, along with a layered costume that includes a black poncho, worn brown jacket, gray hooded tunic, black pants, belt and dark gray boots.
The Luke Skywalker Artisan Edition also comes with an extensive group of accessories, including a blue Lightsaber, an LED-illuminated Lightsaber, lightning rod, cane, crossbody bag, tools and a packed rucksack containing a net, twigs, rope and water bottle. Smaller pieces include a Jedi star compass and Jedi Crusader pendant, while a Porg and island-themed display stand complete the presentation.
Sideshow is also offering The Phasma Command Art Print by Akirant, limited to 125 hand-numbered pieces, and the Spark of Hope Art Print by Ignacio RC, limited to 150. Both are fine art giclée prints and include Certificates of Authenticity.
