Tim Hortons NHL Hockey Cards Return With 234-Card Set, Autographs and Golden Prize Cards

Tim Hortons NHL Hockey Cards

Tim Hortons has brought back its annual NHL hockey card promotion in Canada, with a new 234-card collection produced by Upper Deck, autograph chases, new inserts and Golden Prize Cards tied to experiences and merchandise. The 2026-27 Tim Hortons NHL Hockey Cards went on sale September 28 at participating Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada. The set features fully redesigned base cards along with a mix of inserts and premium hits, including autographs from Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon, a signed Timbits card featuring Seth Jarvis and NHL Signature Jersey Relics cards featuring players such as Nick Suzuki. New insert sets include Next Gen Phenoms and Powerhouse Pillars.

This year’s collection also brings several younger stars into the Tim Hortons card program. Macklin Celebrini and Matthew Schaefer make their Tims card debuts, joining longtime Tim Hortons partners Crosby, MacKinnon and Brad Marchand. Tim Hortons said the set is designed to mix established stars with the next generation of NHL players.

Collectors also have a chance to pull Golden Prize Cards that unlock a variety of experiences and prizes. The list includes a VIP experience for two to meet Sidney Crosby at a Pittsburgh Penguins game, a trip for two to the 2027 Stanley Cup Final, a 2027 Hyundai KONA and a three-night stay for two in Prince Edward Island. Other prizes include MyBauer custom hockey sticks, NHLShop.ca gift cards, Sport Chek and Canadian Tire gift cards, Sportsnet+ subscriptions, Tim Hortons gift cards and free coffee, donuts or hockey card packs.

A pack costs $1.50 with the purchase of an eligible beverage or $1.99 without a beverage, before tax. Tim Hortons is also selling a collectible binder designed to hold the complete set for $19.99. New for 2026-27 is a ZAMBONI Hockey Card Holder that stores up to 200 cards and is also priced at $19.99. Prices may vary by region or restaurant.

Tim Hortons is again linking the card promotion to select Tims at Home products. Eligible purchases from participating retailers can be redeemed for free packs of NHL hockey cards at Tim Hortons restaurants while supplies last, subject to the promotion’s terms and conditions.

The company is also bringing back Hockey Card Trade Nights at select restaurants across Canada. Events are scheduled for October 29 and November 5 from 6 to 8 p.m., giving collectors a chance to trade cards and show off their collections. New this year, the first 10 guests to arrive at each participating location on either Trade Night will receive an exclusive Trade Night hockey card.

Tim Hortons is pairing the physical card release with another season of the Tims NHL Hockey Challenge in its app. Beginning September 29, participants can earn Tims Rewards points, receive a prize for maintaining a seven-day streak and compete for monthly gift cards from Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, DoorDash and Tim Hortons. The promotion also includes a chance to win a new Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid as the season-end grand prize.

With 234 cards, autograph chases, jersey relics, new inserts and prize cards that can lead to everything from gift cards to a Stanley Cup Final trip, the 2026-27 Tim Hortons NHL Hockey Cards promotion gives collectors several different reasons to keep opening packs throughout the season.
