Dylan Harper NBA Debut Patch Autograph Card Sells for $2.88 Million at Fanatics Collect

Dylan Harper’s one-of-one NBA Debut Patch Autograph has sold for $2.88 million at Fanatics Collect, setting a new record for the most expensive Dylan Harper card ever sold. The 2025-26 Topps Chrome Update card sold September 25 in Fanatics Collect’s Premier Auction after 57 bids, with the $2.88 million final price including the buyer’s premium. According to Fanatics Collect, the sale shattered Harper’s previous card record of $320,860 and became the sixth NBA card sale to surpass $2 million in 2026.

Harper’s card is graded PSA Mint 9, while his on-card autograph received a 10. The one-of-one contains the NBA Debut Logoman patch taken from the jersey Harper wore in his first regular-season NBA game on October 22, 2025. The card features the complete NBA Debut logo, incorporating the league’s familiar Logoman, along with Harper’s blue-ink signature directly on the card. That debut came against the Dallas Mavericks and Cooper Flagg, the player selected one spot ahead of Harper in the 2025 NBA Draft. Harper, the No. 2 overall pick, scored 15 points as San Antonio defeated Dallas 125-92. The special NBA Debut patch was worn only for that game before eventually being placed into Harper’s one-of-one Topps Chrome Update autograph card.

The connection between Harper and Flagg continued all the way to the auction block. As CollectiblesNews.comm reported, Cooper Flagg’s one-of-one NBA Debut Patch Autograph Card sold for a record $8.04 million in the same Fanatics Collect Premier Auction. Fanatics Collect said the Flagg result made it the most expensive Cooper Flagg card ever sold, the third-most expensive NBA card and the sixth-most expensive trading card in history.

The two cards are tied together in an unusually direct way. Flagg and Harper entered the league as the first and second selections in the 2025 NBA Draft and then made their regular-season debuts against each other on October 22. The special patches worn on their jerseys that night eventually became the centerpieces of their respective one-of-one Topps Chrome Update cards.

Flagg’s card received a PSA Gem Mint 10 grade with a 10 autograph, while Harper’s card earned a PSA 9 with a 10 autograph. Together, the two NBA Debut Patch cards generated $10.92 million in the Fanatics Collect auction.

Harper’s $2.88 million sale is particularly striking when compared with the previous high for one of his cards. Before Friday’s auction, his record stood at $320,860. The NBA Debut Patch Autograph increased that benchmark by more than $2.5 million in a single sale, establishing a dramatically higher ceiling for the young Spurs star’s card market.

Part of the appeal of the NBA Debut Patch program is that the memorabilia can be traced to a specific moment in a player’s career. Unlike a traditional rookie patch autograph that may use material from an unspecified game, each NBA Debut Patch comes from the jersey worn during that player’s first regular-season NBA appearance. In Harper’s case, the patch inside the card came directly from the night his NBA career began.

The September Premier Auction ultimately produced two enormous prices for the top two picks in the 2025 NBA Draft. Flagg’s card reached $8.04 million, while Harper’s sold for $2.88 million. For Harper, the result not only established a new personal record, it moved his card market from a previous high of $320,860 into the multimillion-dollar range in a single auction.
