Bandai Namco Brings Gundam, Tamagotchi, Godzilla and Tamashii Nations Exclusives to NYCC 2026
Bandai Namco is bringing a wide mix of exclusive collectibles, promotional cards, capsule toys and new product displays to New York Comic Con next month. Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America announced its NYCC 2026 plans, with Gundam, Tamagotchi, Tamashii Nations, Gashapon and Godzilla all getting dedicated displays or activations during the October 8-11 convention.
Gundam will have one of the largest presences. The Bandai Hobby area at Booth #2619 will sell the latest GUNPLA kits along with event-exclusive items, while displays will include the GUNDAM ZERO statue from Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO. Fans will also be able to learn more about Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO. Customers who spend at least $50 on Gundam merchandise may receive a Gundam Card Game GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT Promotional Card, EXBP-029 EX Base, while supplies last. Bandai Namco Entertainment America will also have a playable demo of GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT at Booth #2319, with additional exclusive promotional cards available while supplies last. GUNPLA-kun is scheduled to make appearances for photos during the convention as well.
Tamashii Nations will have its own booth at #2417 with event-exclusive collectibles available for purchase while supplies last. The booth will feature upcoming and newly released figures from anime, feature films and other properties, along with free giveaways and gifts with purchase. Select merchandise normally available through Tamashii Nations Store New York will also be sold at the convention. A Touch & Try LAB will give attendees the chance to handle S.H.Figuarts and Gundam figures with members of the Tamashii Nations research and development team, while voice actors Adam McArthur, known for Jujutsu Kaisen, and Matt Hill from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO are scheduled for meet-and-greet appearances.
Tamagotchi will use NYCC to continue celebrating its 30th anniversary with a booth featuring nostalgic products, newer devices and limited-edition collectibles. Bandai Namco is also holding a “30 Years of Tamagotchi” panel on October 10, with the company teasing possible sneak peeks at what is coming next. Godzilla fans will have their own items to chase, including free collectible pins in eight different styles with varying rarity levels. The pins are tied to the release of Bandai’s new Godziburst action figures, and the Godzilla booth will also sell Godziburst figures, a Godzilla Scramble Event Exclusive and other officially licensed merchandise.
Gashapon will bring another large selection of collectibles to the show floor, with capsule toys based on anime, manga, games and character brands from Bandai Namco and other licensors. The company is also running a Gashapon Stamp Rally that begins at New York Comic Con and finishes at the Bandai Namco Cross Store in Brooklyn. Participants will have 30 days to complete the rally and earn a special prize pouch for their Gashapon tokens.
The convention schedule will include several Bandai Namco panels built around those same brands. GUNDAM Showcase 2026 @ NYC takes place October 8 on the NYCC Main Stage and will include special guests, giveaways and announcements connected to Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO. Tamashii Nations will hold its “Ignite Your Soul” panel October 9 with a first look at upcoming products, followed by the Tamagotchi 30th anniversary panel on October 10.
