Masters of the Universe Origins Two Bad Joins Mattel Creations

Mattel is bringing another classic Masters of the Universe villain into its Origins lineup with a new Two Bad figure inspired by the character’s original 1980s toy. The Masters of the Universe Origins Two Bad figure stands 5.5 inches tall and features 16 points of articulation, combining the proportions and colorful look of the vintage figure with the increased poseability of the modern Origins line.

Two Bad has always been one of the stranger members of Skeletor’s ranks, and Mattel has leaned into the character’s split design for the new release. Each half of the figure has its own body sculpt, hand and facial details, with contrasting colors dividing the character down the middle. Mattel describes the sculpting on each side as unique rather than simply mirroring the same parts in different colors. The figure also comes with a yellow shield that matches its chest armor.

A mini comic is included in the package, continuing a familiar feature of the Origins line and placing Two Bad in what Mattel describes as “some evil action.” The figure arrives in collector-friendly packaging designed to work either as an in-box display or for collectors who prefer to open and pose their figures.

Mattel is positioning Two Bad as a throwback to the character’s original toy appearance rather than a major redesign. The bright opposing color schemes, two heads and oversized 5.5-inch presentation all stay close to the visual identity that made the villain stand out in the original Masters of the Universe line. The figure is priced at $22 and is listed as a Mattel Creations exclusive design.

Club Grayskull members will get the first opportunity to buy it. Mattel says the members-only sales window runs from September 23 at 9 AM PT through September 24 at 8:59 AM PT, while supplies last. Mattel has not provided additional availability details beyond that window on the product page.
