DC Reveals NYCC 2026 Exclusives, New Mattel Collectible, Foil Comics and More

DC is bringing a substantial lineup of exclusive comics, collectibles and first-to-market merchandise to New York Comic Con next month, including limited foil variants, replica Lantern items, Upper Deck cards and the first reveal from Mattel’s upcoming DC Collector line.
New York Comic Con runs October 8 through October 11, with DC returning to the Javits Center in an expanded multilevel booth at #4365. The company will also operate a separate 360-degree cosplay photo experience next door at Booth #4657.
One of the biggest reveals is coming from Mattel. The first-ever item from the new Mattel DC Collector line will be unveiled at the DC booth at noon ET on October 8. Mattel’s DC Collector line officially launches worldwide on January 1, 2027, but fans will be able to pre-order the newly revealed item immediately after its NYCC debut. DC has not yet disclosed what the product will be.
DC Shop will also have a long list of comics produced specifically for the convention. Among them are special-edition foil versions of Absolute Batman #1, Absolute Wonder Woman #1 and Absolute Superman #1 featuring new artwork by Bill Sienkiewicz.
Other limited foil releases include Absolute Catwoman #1 by Ben Oliver, Absolute Green Arrow #1 by Jeff Spokes, Lanterns #1 Special Edition with a wraparound Ryan Benjamin cover, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow #1 by Leirix, Batman #1 by Mahmud Asrar and Lobo #1 by Dan Panosian.
The lineup continues with a foil Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #1 facsimile featuring Frank Miller’s cover and a DC x Sonic the Hedgehog: The Metal Legion #1 foil cover by Min Ho Kim.
Several exclusive hardcover editions will be available as well. Absolute Batman Vol. 1: The Zoo, Absolute Superman Vol. 1: The Last Dust of Krypton and Absolute Wonder Woman Vol. 1: The Last Amazon will receive NYCC editions with connecting Mark Spears artwork across their dust jackets. Batman Vol. 1: Daylight will have a Bat-Symbol dust jacket, while DC K.O. will feature a Javi Fernández jacket with Absolute Batman, Absolute Superman and Absolute Wonder Woman.
DC Shop is also leaning heavily into physical merchandise this year. Limited-edition Lanterns replica rings and light-up replica power battery keychains will be sold at the booth alongside shirts and hats. Fans looking ahead to the new Clayface release will also get the first opportunity to buy new merchandise, including a limited-quantity in-universe band tour T-shirt. Additional apparel will feature Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, Absolute Superman, Absolute Catwoman, Absolute Green Arrow, Nightwing, Krypto, Supergirl and Lobo.
LEGO will have new Batman products on display too. DC says the booth will reveal a new LEGO set based on one of Batman’s most iconic villains, designed specifically with adult builders in mind. Three additional Batman vehicles will also be shown, including one associated with a well-known villain. DC has not yet revealed which characters or vehicles are involved.
Another interesting crossover comes from Shoe Palace, Upper Deck and DC. The companies are releasing two exclusive collectible bundles, one built around Absolute Batman and another around Absolute Wonder Woman. Each bundle contains a limited-edition comic, a 5-by-7 Upper Deck card, character-specific T-shirt and collectible pins. The Batman set features artwork by Nick Dragotta, while the Wonder Woman version uses art by Hayden Sherman.
Upper Deck will have more traditional trading cards available through DC Shop as well. The recently released Platinum: DC set will be sold at the show, featuring original artwork, color variants, serial-numbered parallels, artist and creator autographs and new inserts. Upper Deck sets centered on Batman and Superman will also be available.
Even the giveaways have a collectible angle. DC is producing a free MAD Magazine #1 facsimile for NYCC, complete with vintage-style advertising pulled from the company’s archives. The back cover is designed as a blank Daily Planet-themed signature area, giving attendees something specifically suited for creator autographs. The facsimile ties into DC’s continuing celebration of 100 years of publishing. This year’s booth will focus on the 1950s, following last year’s look at DC’s earliest publishing era.
DC Universe Infinite subscribers will have another convention-exclusive option. A $100 ULTRA membership bundle includes one year of the service, a DCUI ULTRA pin, a member-exclusive Absolute Martian Manhunter #1 glow-in-the-dark variant by Frank Cho, an Absolute Martian Manhunter convention pin set, a DC GO! Runway to Ruin lanyard and badge set, and another Runway to Ruin pin set.
Discord members can pick up additional giveaways at the booth, including a convention-exclusive poster featuring Skottie Young’s Lobo #1 variant artwork, DC GO! pins and a Teen Titans “TT” pin while supplies last. Members who have completed the Teen Titans ARG will also be eligible for an NYCC-exclusive Teen Titans patch.
There will be plenty of opportunities to get comics signed as well. DC’s signing schedule includes Jim Lee, Scott Snyder, Nick Dragotta, Matt Fraction, Jock, Hayden Sherman, Joshua Williamson, Bilquis Evely, Gabriel Picolo and numerous other writers and artists. A Batman of Two Worlds signing on October 10 will bring together Scott Snyder, Nick Dragotta, Matt Fraction, Javi Fernández and Frank Martin. All booth signings are free for NYCC attendees, but each is limited to 100 people and will use DC’s new digital queue system.
DC is also planning publishing panels throughout the weekend covering Vertigo and Black Label, the Absolute Universe, the Next Level initiative and Teen Titans. Jim Lee will host the annual Jim Lee & Friends panel on October 10 with surprise announcements, reveals and guests.
DC says more merchandise and additional NYCC details will be revealed ahead of the show. New York Comic Con 2026 takes place October 8 through October 11 at the Javits Center in New York City.
