Marvel’s Wolverine Figure With Five Claw Sets and Omega Red Deluxe Base Revealed by Hot Toys

Hot Toys is bringing Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Wolverine to the 1/6-scale figure line, with a new collectible based directly on Logan’s look in the game. The figure stands about 11.4 inches tall and uses a muscular body with 30 points of articulation. Hot Toys also gave Wolverine seamless silicone arms built around an internal metal skeleton, allowing for posing without visible arm joints.

His costume is the yellow-and-black Battle Reborn suit from the game, complete with weathering, gauntlets, a utility belt and boots.

The biggest collecting hook may be the claws. Hot Toys includes five different interchangeable sets based on cosmetic variations from the game: Adamantium Claws, Scarlet Claws, Diamond Claws, Charred Bone Claws and Savage Bone Claws. Translucent slashing effects can be attached to any of the sets for display.

The head has interchangeable parts rather than a single fixed expression. Collectors can swap between two eye plates and two lower-face pieces to give Wolverine either a more controlled look or a full berserker expression. Two sets of cowl pieces also let the figure be displayed with different levels of battle wear.

There is also a carved katana ornament based on the reward from the in-game mission Last Stand at Cold Pines, giving the release another detail pulled directly from the game rather than from a comic or movie version of Wolverine.

Collectors who go with the Deluxe Edition get the most elaborate display option. That version adds a battle-themed diorama base featuring an Omega Red bust with UV-reflective eyes and bendable Carbonadium tentacles.

The regular figure also comes with six interchangeable gloved hands and a display stand carrying the Marvel’s Wolverine logo.
