Hot Toys Expands Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Line With Limited Jetpack Trooper Figure

Hot Toys is expanding its Star Wars Jedi: Survivor collection with a new Jetpack Trooper 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure, and this one comes with a relatively small production run. The figure is limited to 2,000 units in selected markets and is available to pre-order through Sideshow while supplies last.

Inspired by the Jetpack Troopers encountered in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the new release recreates the Imperial soldier’s in-game armor with a newly crafted helmeted head, detailed armor pieces and extensive weathering designed to give the figure a battle-worn appearance. The centerpiece is the trooper’s jetpack, which attaches magnetically to the figure. Hot Toys has included translucent exhaust flame effects that can be added beneath the pack, giving collectors the option of displaying the trooper as if he is launching into the air. Additional accessories include an E-11 blaster rifle, a magnetically attachable thermal detonator and several interchangeable hands for different poses.

Jetpack Troopers are specialized Stormtroopers equipped for aerial combat, allowing them to attack from above as Cal Kestis continues his fight against the Galactic Empire in Jedi: Survivor.

The figure joins a growing Hot Toys lineup based on the game. Hot Toys has previously released a Scout Trooper Commander 1/6 scale figure inspired by the Imperial soldiers who use electrified riot batons and specialize in close-quarters combat. That figure is currently waitlisted through Sideshow. A Purge Trooper Commander figure is also part of the Jedi: Survivor collection. Designed around the elite Imperial troops tasked with hunting surviving Jedi after Order 66, the figure is likewise currently waitlisted.

The line extends beyond Imperial soldiers as well. Hot Toys has released a Chopper and BD-1 Imperial Disguise 1/6 scale collectible set, featuring both droids repainted in Imperial colors for undercover missions. The set also includes an MSE-6-series Mouse Droid.
