Hot Wheels Launches First Global Legends Collection With Maluma, Supercar Blondie and Robert Lewandowski

Hot Wheels Global Legends Collection With Maluma, Supercar Blondie and Robert Lewandowski

Hot Wheels is turning three well-known figures from music, automotive culture and sports into a new series of 1:64-scale collectibles. Mattel has named Maluma, automotive creator and entrepreneur Supercar Blondie, and soccer star Robert Lewandowski as the first members of the Hot Wheels “Class of Legends.” Each worked with Hot Wheels to co-design a die-cast vehicle inspired by their personal history and connection to cars, creating the inaugural 2026 Global Legends Collection.

The three-car lineup includes Maluma’s Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60, Supercar Blondie’s Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 and Lewandowski’s 1997 Porsche 911 GT1. Maluma’s FJ60 draws on his Colombian roots and interest in adventure, while Supercar Blondie’s Lamborghini recreates “Lucy,” the first supercar she owned and a vehicle closely associated with her rise in automotive media. Lewandowski’s Porsche 911 GT1 was selected to represent the performance and precision that Hot Wheels says reflect his career.

Rather than simply putting the celebrities’ names on existing Hot Wheels releases, Mattel says each member of the Class of Legends collaborated directly with the brand to develop their vehicle. The company describes the finished models as “collector-worthy” die-cast cars that translate part of each person’s story into Hot Wheels’ familiar 1:64 scale.

Alex Ries, VP, Global Head of Hot Wheels at Mattel, said: “Hot Wheels has always represented that moment when you decide to go for it, to take an idea, a dream or a challenge and see just how far you can push it. The challenger spirit is universal, and Maluma, Supercar Blondie and Robert Lewandowski each embody it in a completely unique way. They’ve taken risks, challenged expectations and continued to push forward to become legends in their own worlds. We are proud to welcome them to our inaugural Hot Wheels Class of Legends and can’t wait for fans all over the world to see their Challenge Accepted journeys.”

All three cars are available for pre-order exclusively through Mattel Creations for $25 each. The Global Legends Collection is the first Hot Wheels collection of its kind. The releases are part of a larger new Hot Wheels campaign called “Challenge Accepted,” built around people who have taken risks and pursued unconventional paths. Throughout September, Hot Wheels will release a three-part content series featuring the new Class of Legends and looking at their careers, personal connections to car culture and the vehicles they helped create.

Collectors in Southern California also have an opportunity to see the Class of Legends cars as part of a temporary Hot Wheels experience at The Brig in Venice. The free pop-up runs August 28 through August 30 and includes the new die-cast cars alongside life-size Hot Wheels vehicles, giveaways and photo opportunities.

Mattel is introducing another collectible at the event as well: the first-ever Hot Wheels print “zine.” The publication will be available exclusively at the Venice pop-up, giving attendees an additional item tied to the launch of the Class of Legends campaign.

The 2026 Hot Wheels Global Legends Collection is available for pre-order now, with the Maluma Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60, Supercar Blondie Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 and Robert Lewandowski Porsche 911 GT1 each priced at $25.
