Pudgy Penguins and Schleich Turn Pax Pengu and Polly Into Limited-Edition Collectible Figures
Pudgy Penguins is expanding its physical collectibles lineup through a new collaboration with German toymaker Schleich, beginning with limited-edition figurines of Pax Pengu and Polly. The figures mark the first Pudgy Penguins characters to be turned into Schleich collectibles and the first product released through the companies’ new partnership. The Pudgy Penguins x Schleich Pax & Polly Bundle will launch August 28 at noon ET through the Pudgy Penguins website for $19.99, with quantities limited.
Each PVC figure stands approximately 2.5 inches tall, with Pax appearing in his signature blue colorway and Polly in pink. They can be displayed separately, but the pair was specifically designed to connect together in a hug when placed side by side, building the characters’ relationship directly into the physical collectibles.
Pudgy Penguins is initially offering Pax and Polly together as an exclusive “Collector Couple” bundle containing one of each figure. Individual versions are also planned for retail, with Schleich.com, Amazon, Fred Meyer and IT’SUGAR expected to carry separately packaged figures in the coming weeks.
Collectors actually got their first look at the collaboration before the wider release. Pudgy Penguins previewed the Pax and Polly figures during San Diego Comic-Con 2026, where the company says they quickly became one of its top-selling products at the event.
“Pax and Polly have become the heart of so much of the storytelling happening around Pudgy Penguins,” said David Albert, President, Schleich North America. “People share these characters with the person they love, so we wanted the physical product to capture the magic of that same relationship. You can collect Pax or Polly individually, but when you bring them together, they actually connect. That feels incredibly true to who these characters are.”
Pax and Polly have become closely linked within the Pudgy Penguins universe, with the pair frequently appearing together in memes shared between partners and friends. Schleich North America President David Albert said that relationship was something the companies wanted to carry into the design of the figures, resulting in the interlocking pose.
The collaboration also puts Pudgy Penguins alongside a toy company with a history stretching back to 1935. Schleich currently distributes its figurines in more than 60 countries and has produced licensed character figures for decades. The limited-edition Pax & Polly Bundle goes on sale Friday, August 28 for $19.99.
