LEGO Reveals Massive 6,130-Piece Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer Set

Lego Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer

LEGO is going big with Darth Vader’s flagship. The company has revealed a new LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series Executor Super Star Destroyer, a 6,130-piece display model that stretches more than four feet long and becomes the longest LEGO Star Wars brick-built model released to date.

Based on the Executor as it appeared in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, set 75457 measures more than 53.5 inches long, 20 inches wide and 7.5 inches high. The completed build weighs more than 11 pounds and sits on a built-in minimalist display stand. LEGO has also included a smaller Star Destroyer built to scale alongside it, plus a tiny Millennium Falcon represented on a 1×1 round tile to emphasize just how enormous the Executor is supposed to be.

Creating a model that long required LEGO to develop an internal structure that combines a LEGO System core with slender LEGO Technic outriggers supporting the exterior panels. The surface is packed with central greebling and contrasting smoother side panels, while a newly designed decorated tile is used 60 times throughout the model to create the appearance of tiny hull lights. Different building orientations expose both stud and tube sides of bricks to add more detail along the center spine and underside.

The Minifigure selection is another major part of the release. Seven are included in total, led by Darth Vader and all six bounty hunters seen together aboard the Executor: Boba Fett, Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, 4-LOM and Zuckuss. According to LEGO, this is the first time all six bounty hunters have appeared together as Minifigures in a single set.

There are some new details among those characters as well. Dengar receives a refreshed backpack build, while IG-88 has a brand-new molded head. A Minifigure-scale recreation of the Executor’s bridge is incorporated into the model, allowing the characters to be displayed together in a scene inspired by their meeting in The Empire Strikes Back.

The new Executor Super Star Destroyer is aimed at adult builders and carries a U.S. price of $799.99. LEGO says it will be available beginning October 1, 2026, through LEGO Stores and LEGO.com.

There is also an extra collectible for buyers who pick up the set during its first week. Anyone purchasing the Executor between October 1 and October 7 will receive LEGO Darth Vader’s LIGHTSABER set 40897 as a gift with purchase while supplies last. The separate build recreates Vader’s lightsaber as a display piece.
