2026 Topps Chrome Star Wars Brings New Characters, Autographs and One-of-One Cards to the Galaxy
Topps is bringing Star Wars back to Chrome with a new 2026 collection featuring characters from across the saga, including dedicated cards for The Mandalorian and Grogu, Andor Season 2 and Star Wars: Visions Season 3.
2026 Topps Chrome Star Wars will be available for pre-order beginning August 25 at 1 PM ET through Topps. The release is built around a 200-card base set, with Chrome parallels joined by Debut cards, short prints, autographs, original sketch cards and a wide assortment of inserts.
Several of the new insert sets take the collection in very different directions. Stormtrooper Command turns Stormtrooper helmets into die-cut cards, while Eras uses original artwork to move through the Star Wars saga movie by movie. The Galaxy’s Cutest is a 15-card set devoted to some of the franchise’s more lovable characters and creatures.
The Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu movie will have its own group of cards highlighting heroes, villains, allies and scenes from the recent theatrical adventure. Andor Season 2 and Star Wars: Visions Season 3 will receive similar treatment, bringing some of the newest Star Wars characters and stories into the physical trading card set.
Topps is also introducing Oblivion, an insert that places Star Wars characters against a highly stylized, explosive background. At the same time, several familiar Chrome Star Wars inserts are returning, including Bonus Stage, Kyber Light, Reflections and Comicfractor.
Autographs remain one of the major chases. Topps says signatures from Star Wars talent will appear throughout the collection, with Duo and Trio Autographs putting multiple cast members together on the same card. There will be some much harder pulls mixed in as well. Original sketch cards return with artwork created specifically for the release, while one-of-one Printing Plate Book Cards sit among the premium hits available in the product.
