Fernando Mendoza 1-of-1 Rookie Patch Autograph Card Pulled on Topps NFL Flagship Football Release Day

One of the biggest chase cards from 2026 Topps NFL Flagship Football has already been found, with the 1-of-1 Fernando Mendoza Rookie Patch Autograph pulled on release day.

Topps confirmed the pull on X writing, “The 1-of-1 Fernando Mendoza Rookie Patch Autograph was just pulled on release day.”

The card surfaced during a Fanatics Live stream, with an Instagram post showing off the hit and celebrating the pull with the message, “OH.MY.LANTA.” Video of the live steam posted by DGN Sports Cards shows the brea-er reacting with excitement, screaming “Oh my God. 1-of-1, 1-of-1 Mendoza Patch Auto on release day.”

As a 1-of-1 Rookie Patch Autograph, the Mendoza card combines a rookie-year card, patch and autograph in a unique example, immediately removing one of the major 1-of-1 cards from the list of potential pulls as collectors begin opening the newly released product.

Mendoza is one of the rookies featured prominently in 2026 Topps NFL Flagship Football, which marks the return of Topps Flagship Football for the first time since 2015. The release includes a 400-card base set along with rookie cards, autographs, memorabilia cards, parallels and variations.

Topps NFL Flagship includes Mendoza throughout the product, including his base rookie card and other variations and autograph cards. But with only one copy of the 1-of-1 Rookie Patch Autograph produced, collectors now know exactly where one of the release’s most significant Mendoza cards has surfaced.
