CGC Announces Simone Di Meo Private Signing for Comics and Cards

CGC is giving collectors the chance to have comics and cards signed by artist Simone Di Meo through a new exclusive CGC Signature Series Private Signing.
The signing is open to both comic book and card submissions, with CGC required to receive all items by September 18, 2026. International submissions have an earlier deadline of two weeks before the U.S. cutoff to allow additional time for delivery.
Di Meo is a comic artist from Turin, Italy, known for his work as an interior, concept and cover artist. He is a current Marvel Stormbreaker, recently completed X-Men: Age of Apocalypse with Jeph Loeb and currently serves as the main cover artist on Spider-Man: Miles Morales. His previous work includes covers for Batman: The Brave and the Bold and interior artwork on Batman & Robin. He is also a two-time Eisner Award nominee for We Only Find Them When They’re Dead.
Collectors submitting comics have several options. A standard Simone Di Meo signature costs $80 per item and includes the signature, CGC grading and encapsulation with the yellow CGC Signature Series label. CGC estimates a six-week turnaround for grading, while submissions that also include CGC pressing are estimated at eight weeks and require an additional $20 pressing fee.
CGC is also offering a limited number of remarques for $220 per item. The option includes a Di Meo remarque and signature, grading and Signature Series encapsulation. Collectors can request a subject for the remarque, although the final subject is at Di Meo’s discretion and requests are not guaranteed. Only the first 10 requests will be accepted.
An even more limited head sketch option is available for $535 per item. These sketches are restricted to blank comic covers and are limited to the first five requests. As with the remarques, collectors may request a subject, but the final artwork remains at the artist’s discretion. The fee also includes Di Meo’s signature, grading and the yellow Signature Series label.
Card collectors can participate in the signing as well. The fee for a card signed by Di Meo is $60 per item, which includes the autograph, an estimated six-week CGC Cards grading turnaround and encapsulation with the yellow CGC Signature Series label.
CGC-certified comics can also be submitted for the event. CGC will remove a previously encapsulated book from its holder for an additional $5 fee, although the company notes that the comic must then go through certification and encapsulation again and is not guaranteed to receive the same grade.
Collectors taking one of the limited remarque, sketch or signature spots must ship their books within one week of placing the submission order and provide CGC with the order and tracking information. All qualifying submissions must arrive by the September 18 deadline, after which no change requests will be accepted.
